  1. Anyone see this bottled anywhere yet? I'm trying to get some for Sunday
  2. If you're talking about the Bryan O'Leary book, it has definitely been discussed in multiple places on here. That being said, it is a great read
  3. Well, we could start by assigning a guy to cover him. The steelers didn't even make it that far
  4. We have a winner.
  5. First spy gate Then deflate gate Predict the next cheateiot * as they start the season...
  6. Ah man. That was as about as rogue as coloring outside the lines.
  7. im going rogue Jet sweep to Harvin for 6. 21 first downs
  8. Thanks for that insight. It truly has become a passing league, and as you've suggested, the ratio of run/pass has mirrored that and must be reflected in the game plan outlook regardless of the ground and pound title. I love the idea of the quick hit plays, getting our playmakers the ball and having them take care of the rest. I would imagine at leave 5 screen, quick hit or bubbles each game. If you took those into account, it would look more like 31/37
  9. That's a great point. Maybe I'm lacking to include that some of the receptions will be from the backfield, screens and other quick hit passes. I think ground and pound is also an emphasis on touches to the RB
  10. I get chills. Any estimates of play total and breakdown? I'll say 68 total plays with 36 rushes/ 32 passing attempts. I imagine it much more balanced than originally expected
  11. O'Leary to the PS?! Solid.
  12. Ha, I like it. McCoy and Harvin at the Wing, Karlos at the tail.
  13. It will be interesting to see the different packages and combinations they use. Wonder if we'll see any of them out of the backfield. I wouldn't be surprised.
  14. Aside from Charles Clay, I find the TE situation blurry. G Ro is undoubtedly going to implement multiple TE sets, using 12 and 22 personnel. My question, is who will be that 2nd guy in? Is it situational? Depth chart related? My take would be that Clay is the Y. G Ro will utilize Mully when he wants double tight. Marquis Gray will play the H role, with Gragg being the number two guy in given a Clay injury or event he can't go. Do you think they'll have specific, defined roles? Or are they strictly interchangeable and will be utilized much like in a traditionsl depth chart?
  15. K Billy Cundiff in for a visit today
  16. Amen brother. I can buy a half a beer!
  17. You might want to get an earlier start. If you're heading into OP around 10:30, you are gunna be swamped with traffic
  18. No but he does have a knack for running people over... Too soon?!
  19. Surprised they haven't scooped Simms to the PS yet
  20. You haven't missed them. I'm saying that there will be some serious over reaction to when he is beat.
  21. Darby is bound to get beat throughout the year. After this preseason, I wonder how long it takes for ppl to start calling for his head. I actually think he matches up quite well with TY. Robey on the outside is an interesting idea.
  22. I just can't understand the idea that his opinion is work 4.5 million. If he is in fact 3, it'd be an extremely rare occasion he'd be needed on the field. Leaving his only reason for being there his opinion? If he is number 2, I get it. If he is number 3, I don't.
  23. Speaking of which, TY is a guy idt you can bump and run. Like that article from the other day you posted, the new rules are aiding smaller, quicker receivers. I wonder if Donnie Henderson is teaching the "slide and skip" technique? I hope continuoisly mix their coverages. To me, they have a better chance of throwing luck off for an extra second by disguising the secondary in hopes our DL can get there. I doubt we'll see the straight man, cover 0 we saw so much of during preseason
