  1. Draft one and sign one. Just no butt fumbling in Buffalo please
  2. Guard, Tackle, Tight End. These are position that are less of plug-and-play positions. I love Hughes and hope they get it done at a reasonable price, but if he is tryin to break the bank, we need to let him walk. Rex has shown his scheme can allow even the most worthless players (Aaron Maybin) to produce
  3. So far, every QB in Chip Kelly's system have been successful.
  4. I don't see many other options. Use the cap space to support the starting QB with a quality o line and good targets. Yes, they new to bring someone in but I don't see any FA option as being clearly better than a guy who has been given 14 games over 2 seasons
  5. Just to be clear, I'm against bringing in Sanchez and would rather roll with EJ this year
  6. Anyone they bring in at QB, including Sanchez, will be in a camp battle for the gig. It's possible, given Sanchez's inconsistency, that EJ outperforms him and wins the job. What is so ridiculous about that?
  7. I'm not sure he is the right fit here. He is a great player but maybe too pricey for what he could offer this offense. That being said, he seems like a guy who will follow the money.
  8. I don't think Roman and Co. are worried about his durability. They aren't married to EJ as a starter and would use him (hypothetically) as a runner despite past injuries. If you look at the carry distribution of Romans offense in the past three years, the QBs ranged from 70-90 carries. Idt shanchez will handle that load. Anyways just my opinion
  9. So the Bills should definitely put in an offer for this kid. If you find he is worth it and force the dolphins hand.
  10. I think EJ gives us more of a mobile option at QB. I think Roman (correct me if I'm wrong) values more of a west coast approach than EJ has ever experiences. Possibly the quick throws and run heavy game will how EJ the support system he needs be successful.
  11. Right. Whaley values more impact players. Pass rushers, O line and playmakers (I.e. Hughes, Iupati, Julius Thomas)
  12. I feel EJ fits Romans system more than Sanchez might.
  13. This. He'd be a great player in this defense but it could be more valuable to spend the money else where
  14. Why spend money on safeties. They're easily replaceable and often overvalued. He is a great player, don't get me wrong, but idt Whaley wants to pay guys that kind of money.
  15. I think he was only there so he didn't get fined
  16. Hughes is 23rd? That is surprising...
  17. Idk about the guard, but sign the lady
  18. "Mario Williams never dominated games or was a lynchpin in a great defense or organization." Maybe it's just me, but the lack or respect this guy gets is unbelievable. Sure, he doesn't put up JJ Watt numbers but he is undoubtedly the best player on what I believe to be a great defense. Numbers don't tell all.
  19. Give him even MORE money than he's worth? No thank you.
  20. Numbers are numbers. Maxx is smooth and athletic where as I feel JJ appears stiff and mechanic. The numbers are intriguing, but I think Maxx is a by far better option. That being said, a later pick might be wirth it for JJ
  21. My apologies. I tried quoting Mayock from the draft but I clearly missed.
  22. I'd love this in the 3rd
  23. Then isn't it curious as to why his stock isn't higher?
  24. David Johnson Northern Iowa 6-3 230 lbs and ran a 4.5 1000 rushing and 1500 receiving yards in '14 3 consecutive 1000 yard seasons. I have a feeling he'll be flying up boards. Only knock is he played in the MAC. Well so did Khalil Mack...
