  1. I think they should up the price. They have the cap space still, why not?
  2. No, you're right. People buy way too much into the "3 down lineman" or "4 down lineman". Though 3-4 or 4-3 used to designate the number of down lineman, it now refers more to the shade which the DT's play. At least offensively, most QB/coach combinations are reading shades of lineman instead of counting guys with their hand in the dirt.
  3. I'm against taking a QB in this draft. Like jboyst said, late round QBs rarely pan out. Sure, you can argue Tom Brady till you're blue in the face but that is not an everyday event.
  4. It's all a game. Media, "reports", insider info. As much as we like to think we're informed, we really have little idea what is truly happening behind closed doors.
  5. Yes. However, considering it was the 2nd time ever in NFL history, it's not usually an issue. But it is a problem and should have some sort of alternative means to pick a playoff team
  6. Henderson to G and get better at two positions. I love it
  7. Can I get a side of Kool aid with that read? Gulp, gulp.
  8. Dudes supposed to be a nightmare. I would have been on board. You can never have enough good linebackers
  9. Should we sort this as an addition or subtraction?
  10. He sat almost a year behind an experienced NFL QB and is a year older. Yea, it isn't game experience, but helpful nonetheless
  11. I'm hoping EJ because of the change in staff and increased experience. But realistically, I see Cassel winning this competition. He is the most experienced and is mobile enough.
  12. What if the best OL available is a tackle?
  13. Same here. It's undoubtedly frustrating. If they can get a tackle at 50, Henderson could try his hand at G. He has experience there in college. I'll be interested to see how they shake out the OL
  14. I think it's unfair to say Henderson sucked. He played well at times but did, in fact, play below what we need. As far as his production for a 7tg round rookie, I'd say he did fine. Give him a year of proper nutrition and fitness and a real OL coach. I think he'll be much improved
  15. With Spikes, you can wait until the 3rd or 4th round. Without, I think they'll take a hard look for an ILB at 50
  16. Retaining Hughes and adding Rex will make these guys the best imo
  17. This would be great depth, leadership and closing another hole. Would open us up for the best OL at 50
  18. Interesting stuff. Patience grasshopper?
