  1. I really wonder who the anonymous Ty Dunne source is. Lack of effort can never be excused. Rex's scheme is co-dependent on group success. I wouldn't be surprised if a lack of DL production is because the stunts and blitzes aren't being executed properly. Brown has moved positions, which can result in declined play but there is no excuse for his poor angles and missed tackles. Bradham will walk, he did not show up this season. I want to see more players with the effort of Hughes to execute Rex's defense. There are huge problems, but any company or business that relies on teamwork becomes difficult to succeed when a link in the chain is broken.
  2. Depends on where you are staying, parking and what time you need to be there. Are you looking to eat in the city, Orchard Park?
  3. Pump the breaks. EJs the guy, he just needs some first team reps... Seriously though, I think QB is a must but not in the first three rounds
  4. For those of you willing to cut Kyle, if he is healthy, you'd be out casting the only remaining level headed leader on this team. Not to mention losing a tremendous player, injury prone or not. I know he is getting old, but I think you lose more than a DT by releasing Kyle and opening yet ANOTHER hole to fill
  5. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/week-17-coaches-on-the-hot-seat---how-bad-will-black-monday-be-155939378.html Not the best source but a nice quick breakdown of each possible firing
  6. Wishing one year our New Years celebration wlll include some playoff predictions for us
  7. Josh Gordon, interesting. While we are at it, I heard Justin Blackmon may be available
  8. So you're okay with Watkins being double covered every game with no other receiver to ease the coverage? Blocking aside. Drafting a WR after the second round isn't the best formula for finding someone better than woods. IMO, it'd have to be first or second Yep exactly.
  9. Mo Sanu would be interesting but I just don't see him (or any other WR ) wanting to come to a team that throws the ball in the way we do. On the flip side, Sanu is often used in wildcat formations and designed runs. I'd much rather see him than EJ
  10. IMO, he offers no value in YAC, is not dominating defenders to make catches, often seems to fall and slip. Props for his blocking ability though.
  11. Taking a look at the free agent WR class of 2016, it's pretty clear to me that there aren't many realistic options for onebillsdrive. Buffalo, needing to spend money elsewhere, won't be financially able to acquire a true, top option. As much as I'd love to rake in Alshon Jeffery, it won't happen. Take a look for yourself. Do you see many, if any, of these guys as an improvement over woods that is worth the money? I think Buffalo will need to draft one. Most likely in the 2nd round. Given the state of our salary cap and impending needs, and the current offensive scheme, I don't think Buffalo will be an appealing option to any of these guys. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/wide-receiver/ I don't know the college game well enough to state any particular player, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the bills go for our #2 receiver early in the upcoming draft.
  12. I really see no value in wanting to lose this game. In fact, I think it'd be better for the team to win this game. I certainly won't be rooting for them to lose, but I won't be heartbroken if they do. How many spots in the draft would they move up? Unless it propels them into the top 5ish, idt it really is all that meaningful
  13. Scenario 1: heck, what is just one more year after the past 16... Scenario 2:just one more year!
  14. Considering the need for depth in our secondary, why not? He is capable. My question is why? Does he really like Rex? Buffalo? Scheme? Or does he know he is washed up and won't get looks at CB elsewhere
  15. With a majority of the roster being familiar with the scheme. Look at Cinci, they invested, believed in it and it's finally clicking.
  16. I'm all for a new WR#2. Agreed on woods and hogan. I just don't see this as a glaring issue or a reason we extended the streak
  17. I know the continuity arguements have been exhausted, but to me, continuity is good for one additional win. Filling holes and matching personal good for another. I don't think Rex is an amazing head coach, but dropping a guy without a chance to fully implement their system seems premature. There's no guarentee that they guys they'll bring in are going to be vastly different than players the prespective next coach will want (see Todd Bowles)
  18. We need little offensive help. Roman and Kelly couldn't be more different IMO
  19. In what way do you see this team/ roster getting worse?
  20. Which games would this have resulted in a win instead of a loss? Not arguing what he brings, but just stating idt it would have had a tremendous impact on outcome
