  1. Not sure if this was being discussed elsewhere, but did anyone else notice Spikes receiving snaps at DE on Sunday vs. the 49ers? He never had his hand in the dirt but looked obviously out of place. I'm not sure what they were trying to do schematically or what but I just thought it was weird Edit: it looked like he was lined up at traditional 4-3 DE but possibly OLB
  2. I have them at 9-6 entering week 17 vs NJ. I think they can steal one vs the Bengals but likely lose on both west coast games and to the Steelers. Whether a week 17 loss would be good enough at 9-7, nobody knows.
  3. Bad teams sometimes win on Sundays. I agree with your post. Yet, it'd be a little more comforting having a healthy 99 for this game after seeing what they did on the ground yesterday
  4. Idk I heard a rumor they were discussing where to eat after the game. But really, it's awesome to see a successful collaborative effort from the coaching staff. Kudos to Rex for being humble enough for taking a step back and trusting his staff.
  5. Whaley has shown the ability to find and draft corners IMO. Based on that and Gilmore's play thus far, I'd rather see the money go elsewhere at this point in the season. Instead, extend: Robey Brown LoRax
  6. So happy for this kid. Love his blocking. Love his attitude. Love his story. Did you know he is Jack's Grandson? I am excited to continue to watch him prove
  7. I anticipate a much different defensive effort against the fish. I've got a feeling Rex and Co will be feeling a little blitz happy
  8. I don't want to take away from his performance because he has been awesome in more than one element of the game, but I do believe his success to be in part of terrific team efforts. Kudos to the entire DL for playing responsible defense and buying into Rex and co
  9. I would think if there was already a second surgery planned or that took place, there is no chance for radio silence. It would have been all over. At this point, I imagine they are trying to manage pain with the assumption that if it does not get better, they can still shut him down late in the season, undergo another survey and be back in time for TC next year
  10. Rotational depth at DL is crucial in a long season. He provides a fresh set up legs. Not every team will be as porous as the lambs
  11. i hope Rex and Co have a similar game plan vs the 9ers as they did yesterday. The only difference is I'd like to see them play a little tighter outside the numbers and challenge their receivers
  12. My favorite thing about the Washington pick this offseason was the depth that it adds. In my mind, he was selected to eventually replace Kyle at DE. Although, like you mention, our current situation and depth allows us to use multiple rotations and lineups. With Corbin Bryant planing decently at NT and a host of other DLman stepping up, we Should have phenomenal depth and stamina down the stretch
  13. Bryant has been playing NT with MD sidelined so Idt comparing snaps will serve much purpose. Although, moving forward, it will be interesting to see the snap count at 5T once Dareus returns
  14. It's amazing to think we could be 5-2 going into a home game vs. the pats leading into a bye
  15. LorAx has got me praising Whaley, yet again.
  16. Agreed. We know what we have in Goodwin. Let's push Hunter to see what we have here
  17. Could you imagine a win going into the bye?
  18. It wasn't pretty but a win is a win
  19. After a full day of some cold bottles of suds, I'd love to say hello.
  20. You can't go -3 in the turnover margin and win games
  21. Goodwin still sucks, go bills
