  1. With the transition tag, you risk the chance of losing Glenn if he's offered something they silly cannot match. Though that specifically wouldn't hurt them, the lost time when they could pursue a FA replacement does.
  2. Don't you see the tag as an opportunity to extend talks, driving both sides to make a long term deal. 5 of 6 tagged players last year reached long term deals after being tagged. The only exception was JPP
  3. I think this is right. He is a solid player at a position of importance. Even if he doesn't play under the tag, placing it on him to keep him off the market seems worth the risk to me.
  4. In a perfect world. I was speaking hypothetically as if they aren't able to get a deal done
  5. 13.5 million? A steep price, yet it must be done. Can't create another hole. The question is, should the tag be exclusive, non-exclusive or transitional? I think if they drop the tag it would be an exclusive rights franchise tag http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/2/16/10956324/nfl-free-agency-2016-franchise-tag-definition-value-candidates
  6. I would pay zero dollars and watch from home. Best seat in the house. I've heard the game is more suits than fans. I'd rather lock myself away and throw stuff at the TV
  7. Not to mention that TE if the most difficult position, other than QB, for college players to adjust to in the NFL. Look at all rookie TEs over the past few years. Even first round talent struggles. O'Leary was a late round pick who needs time to adjust and grow to be successful.
  8. Right. I know FA is over a month away but I can't help but be concerned. On the surface, the deal seems pretty straight forward.
  9. Idk how this is new news? Does this say they're close to a new deal? To the best of my knowledge, cog has wanted to resign since the end of the season. So what has changed?
  10. If Roman is limiting our passing attack to make TT be more successful, is he limiting our potential? It makes you rethink TT as a long term answer if progression ceases. I'm not sure how I feel either way, but j definitely think Roman has more in the playbook that he hasn't opened up which I would really love to see
  11. Can we run this back in a few weeks, maybe post combine? I really enjoyed reading the group input and collective selection. Hopefully we'll do a better, more accurate, job when the big boards are updated
  12. I'll be very upset if we take a SS in the first round
  13. The more I hear about the guys in the draft, the more I think we'll go DL or OLB in the first
  14. Thanks, blokes! I think that this is probably correct. I wouldn't reach for a guy like this, but if he falls for whatever reason, you jump all over this is the second. The more I read about the LBs, the more I think we'll go DL in the first.
  15. As he should. Go out on top and eat as many papa johns pizzas as possible.
  16. Doubled on 50% of defensive snaps. Wow.
  17. So let me get this straight, we can't have QBs under 6'2 but taller than 6'5? Scouts sure have gotten picky. Talent is talent. Regardless of size
