  1. Well written, thanks. 1) I agree on Whaley. Changing the scheme ultimately changes who he is trying to acquire and it really messes up the "building" of a roster 2) I agree on the talent perspective. Last year we had a roster with playoff talkent IMO. I believe that the coaching staff restricted them from reaching their full potential. Lack of leadership from the head coach and a lazy approach In practice, tagged with the player friendly, lack of discipline approach was reciprocated onto the field. I'm hoping McDermott will hold the players to a higher standard and will stick around long enough for the FO to find players that will work well in his schemes
  2. Defense struggles adjusting (again) to a new scheme. Offense can't carry us through when needed due to lack of passing efficiency. That said, TT and shady rumble their way to the leading rushing team in the NFL and go 7-9 while doing so
  3. The longer he sits on the market, two things come to mind: 1) he will come cheaper and cheaper as time ticks on. 2) maybe he has overvalued himself and is seeking a contract higher than the market thinks he is worth. Either way, for someone who believes you can't have too many Lbs, bringing him back at reasonable starter money would be a nice pick up. As far as I'm concerned, no news is good news
  4. Now that he HASNT signed, I really want this kid!
  5. Ha, pretty much. Just feel a little more mentally stable
  6. First off, I missed the forum. I really appreciate all the insights (right or wrong), back and forth and the updates here. Here are my three biggest take aways from my hiatus: 1) There is no escaping it.... friends, internet, news outlets. As hard as I tried, someone, somewhere wanted to talk Bills. I always gave the same speal about my time off but still, could not get away from the conversation. 2) Avoiding the media and insider rumors was... amazing. I loved not having the bull **** stories flowing daily. It was so tiring hearing all of the speculation that cutting it off completely was almost a mental cleanse. 3) Glad to be back.... it was a struggle for me to avoid clicking the link to TSW and I am enjoying the new flow of posters and the FA period leading into the draft. I'm excited to get back into the discussion. Current outlook? My passion for winning is slowly being replaced by the need to watch good football. I'm excited for the culture change, enjoying the showstoppers we have in Shady and Sammy, and floored they reworked Tyrod. My expectations for th 2017 season are less optimistic than in previous years. Regardless, let the official league heat begin!
  7. Shady is fantastic. But I'm not sure our OL is best fit for this scheme. Richie in particular
  8. Happy for him, he deserves it!
  9. Play to win the game Matt
  10. And played with a much worse offensive line than many of these other guys
  11. You mean David Johnson? I can't believe how often he is overlooked

  14. Why did the Giants not go for 2?
  15. He just doesn't have enough sand in his pants
  16. This is why CTE is prevelanf in former NFL players
  17. DHB going crazy... About as ridiculous as the Raider's punters celebrations
  18. Pacifically speaking, I've enjoyed the irony. Thanks. PS Schwartz was my vote.
