He’s just so limited athletically. Undersized and out matched, he’s made his way solely on grit and intuition. A good running back that can churn out tough yards between the tackles, but I think these are a dime a dozen that come in bigger or faster variations. II think these limitations have him as a PS back for life. He isn’t going to make a squad on special teams. It will always be a long shot for him because of this.
As far as his level of content in terms of current role, I don’t think any guy goes into the league thinking they WANT to be a PS player. However once they’ve been around enough, I think these guys learn what the future holds to some degree. A quarter mill a season be on the PS and keep the dream alive ain’t half bad.
