Brutal. This was my draft crush and I was bummed when he didn’t make it to us (like we thought he wouldn’t). Then the passing of him post draft night and now this? Awful .

When you try to find guys who are good at everything, it often leads to having a player who isn’t great at anything. This is especially true when you don’t pay for a position in FA or draft high enough to pick elite skills or traits.

He’s just so limited athletically. Undersized and out matched, he’s made his way solely on grit and intuition. A good running back that can churn out tough yards between the tackles, but I think these are a dime a dozen that come in bigger or faster variations. II think these limitations have him as a PS back for life. He isn’t going to make a squad on special teams. It will always be a long shot for him because of this. As far as his level of content in terms of current role, I don’t think any guy goes into the league thinking they WANT to be a PS player. However once they’ve been around enough, I think these guys learn what the future holds to some degree. A quarter mill a season be on the PS and keep the dream alive ain’t half bad.

Stonybrook state park is one we did this year. It was a nice 3 hour stay at the park. We were able to hike the gorge (roughly 3ish miles round trip) with our little ones. Three waterfalls and plenty of “rapids” to splash in and amazing rock formations with some older bridges to marvel at. We then swam in the natural pool and finished with a picnic and playground play before the hour plus ride home. They have two other more challenging trails, which my oldest daughter and I peeked at (quite steep at times). Plenty of camping, pavilions and recreational activities from what I could tell. It cost us $9 to park and the gas in our car to get there. Can’t beat it!

for SVPG you’re probably right. There really isn’t too much difference in terms of ability to reactivate them from both PUP and IR once the season starts I’ll be 4 games minimum. I used IR as a blanket term but pup is more accurate for his situation. That said, he’s been out for weeks. It’s possible it’s something lingering and they shut him down for the whole year. Either way my point was that idt either player will be on the 53 at cut downs

I am getting the sense that: - SVPG will go to IR and end his year - Max with start of IR designated to return and miss the first 4 weeks
