  1. I hope everyone's festivities are off and running to a smooth start. Go Bills!
  2. Amherst Ale House. Selling souvenir pitchers.
  3. In 2014, a close friend of mine, and avid Vikings fan, smashed a beer bottle over his own head as Minnesota selected Teddy Bridgewater in the first round. Needless to be said, his idiotic behavior was both impulsive and in my opinion, an over reaction. So as Thursday approaches, who are your smash-the-bottle-over-your-head picks in round one? Why would you be disappointed in them? Is there any possibility you'd later learn to appreciate or like the pick? My smash-the-bottle player: Jarbril Peppers (Side note: please include any previous smash-the-bottle draft moments you've experienced in the past!)
  4. if I'm trading away my snack pack during lunch time, you better be offering up something tasty.
  5. I always liked it in NYC. I hate the city to city idea
  6. Buffalo fans are real good at complaining we suck and then running the only good players on the team out of town. Eichel sucks! Tyrod sucks! Gilmore sucks! Who am I forgetting
  7. Where are the leaks!!!??!???
  8. Biggest fear is that the Panthers take Luke Keuchley on pick before we take Stephon Gilmore... So I guess what I'm saying is that I hope the best player isn't selected right before us leaving us to take a less valuable or less productive player. Von Miller one before Dareus. I don't know if the Bills organization will make the right pick at ten, but I hope the way the chips fall, they'll at least have a shot to make the right pick
  9. To me when someone says WCO and Air raid, I think totally different offensive schemes
  10. His teams weren't always so perfect, but they were disciplined. He did things a certain way and demanded it be done that way too. If they didn't get on board, they were let go and replaced. I think the idea is not good vs bad character but rather finding those that will prioritize the team and remain disciplined to the culture McD is trying to build.
  11. Hire his ass and make him bring you bagels and coffee
  12. I have no feelings on him either way, but one thing I do know for sure is that Anquan Boldin is not the "missing link" keeping this team from being a playoff contender
  13. I believe the FO is comfortable with Mills at RT in the offense that it appears they are building. This move would make sense if we plan on going out and throwing the ball 35-45 times a game but from our FA acquisitions thus far, I think they'd rather save the cap space and work with what we we have
  14. I expect him to land somewhere around 3 years, 15 mill with little guaranteed money attached
  15. This thread has me wishing EJ was still a Bill...
  16. Well said. Especially with a defensive minded HC in his first draft
  17. I guess I just don't see the value of our first round pick being spent on a position with as little impact as TE has had in the past with TT. It may be different with Dennison. I know Heap and Pitta had some solid seasons with Kubiac at the helm. But to me, you wouldn't spend 10 overall on a player at this position unless you believed him to be "Gronk like." Is there not a lesser value player for a smaller cost? It isn't QB, CB or LT that we are discussing.
  18. interesting outlook. Do you mean to imply that he lacks the duel threat of a great blocker and outstanding pass catcher like Gronk? I've seen many, many people argue that Travis Kelcey is a one dimension TE, most famously Vonn Miller calling him something along the lines of a "wanna be Gronk" I can't get behind drafting a number two TE in this offense. Also, check the search bar or the stadium wall before posting topics. There is some discussion on this that you could jump into
  19. Well written, thanks. 1) I agree on Whaley. Changing the scheme ultimately changes who he is trying to acquire and it really messes up the "building" of a roster 2) I agree on the talent perspective. Last year we had a roster with playoff talkent IMO. I believe that the coaching staff restricted them from reaching their full potential. Lack of leadership from the head coach and a lazy approach In practice, tagged with the player friendly, lack of discipline approach was reciprocated onto the field. I'm hoping McDermott will hold the players to a higher standard and will stick around long enough for the FO to find players that will work well in his schemes
