  1. Yep, build that team of yes men and choir boys!
  2. I'm going to assume if any team, not just Belicheat and the Pats, trade a pick for a player and then release him, he isn't worth it
  3. Sign him and trade him for a first round pick duh I'm with you on this.
  4. Must every thread turn into a QB discussion?
  5. Is this prediction immediate? Prior to the first regular season game? If it is post 53 cuts but prior to the regular season, that gives them approximately a week to make these moves. In that case I'll take the under.
  6. Right. It's amazing how I used to come here to talk football. Now I just study how articulate our players are and read tweets about political views. My fault
  7. A man can dream It's hard to promote discussion with posts like this. Thanks for playing correctly. 10,000 points to you. You may pass go and collect $200. I'm curious if/when Seymour does get beat out for the RCB job, McD and Fraiser will let him compete for the slot role.
  8. Hopes: Shady doesn't play A 12+ play drive resulting in a score Zay Jones continuing to make pro catches Vlad Ducasse slips on a mat Expectations: Special teams penalties Solid run defense TT under pressure and bailing out of pocket Lots of young WRs rotating in
  9. ST has been a glaring issue with this team for years, penalties especially. And yet, somehow, Crossman has made it through two regime changes and has latched on to his third coaching staff in 5 years. Dude must have one hell of an interview
  10. I may be reaching here but... It's my belief that the regular season will bring much more play action, moving pockets and rollouts. Is it possible that they don't care on Ducasse's failure in one on one pass pro because they know in near future, they will be putting him in a better position to succeed? Maybe to them his run blocking outweighs his lack of ability in pass pro and understanding that the offense will rely heavily on a mobile pocket allows them to be comfortable with him over Miller. Just a thought
  11. Glad McCoy spoke his mind. Specifically speaking, I appreciate him discussing the platform for addressing social change. You don't talk religion at the dinner table. Keep and followers should take a note from Anquan Boldin
  12. It's going to be ok 😂
  13. Anyone heard Ducasse in front of a camera? Is he more articulate than Miller?
  14. Ya, but do we have enough sand in our pants?
  15. Such solid work and then you don't follow through with playoffs and Super Bowl pick? Finish the job!
  16. Don't get me wrong, it'll be great to have him week one. But this is something that could linger all year. A foot issue in an offensive lineman is troublesome. I hope they don't force him back before the issue has been fully taken care of
  17. Front seven is key, especially in this defense. Again like Scott said, we won't need to pay a QB for years to come unless they are planning a trade or FA acquisition Maybe LB will see some money in the near future
  18. I agree with you. But if the issue behind the move is salary cap, where do they plan to spend their money? They haven't shown that toward any position yet
  19. Yep I was trying to imply he was wrong that the FA wide receiver group would not be strong. Looks like I missed a few http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2018/wide-receiver/available/
  20. Wrong. Most have but there are still some pretty big names available. Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson and Devante Adams are entering contract years. Not to mention, so is Dendre Hopkins. Some decent talent here, but this is why they won't get a big name receiver in 2018 FA. Odell Beckham Mike Evans Kelvin Benjamin Brandon Cooks What do those four receivers have in common? As you said, their team's picked up the 5th year option. But most, if not all, of these guys will re-up with a long term deal next offseason IMO. This will continue to drive the price of the receiver upward and teams must continue to shell out big money, even for above average talent. Anyone think McDermott or Beane is willing to break the bank on anybody at this point? Me neither.
  21. I want someone to press him on his thoughts on the state of the team. But of course, they'll settle for the fluff answers that are PC because, hey, why would the NFL network focus on talking football when they have some good ol politics to discuss?
