I look forward to these every week. Nice job, Bo. I was hoping you'd include the wide shot of the final Jones drop/ TT miss. I disagree that it was thrown to the wrong shoulder. Other than that, it's clear that stunts have gotten the better of Wood over the past two weeks. Hopefully mills will rebound but hoping for a good week vs Von Miller is insane

Woah, man some people take this way too seriously. My point was it is annoying as a fan to watch the leader of the team applauding as our offensive, yet again, trots off the field after a 3 and out. As many suggest, it is his idea of leadership. But I'd rather see a balance of positivity with also some fire. If McDermott isn't going to be the fire under the offenses rear end, who is the rah rah leader? You need that when things are stagnant IMO Btw to those who found the clapping gifs...epic!

I can see where you are coming from with that angle. But still, watch the EZ cam

I don't have FB. But I did see the back of that dudes hat you posted earlier lol

It still pisses me off that Pete Carrol smacks his gum and yells at refs at phantom penalties that he thinks should be made. It's an aspect of the game I noticed. Does it have an impact on the out come of the game? Probably not. Does it say something about his personality and demeanor? Absolutely. Since we are so focused on building a culture, I think sideline actions and behavior to be equally important. If you want to beat a dead horse about TT or lack of positional strength, look at another thread.

True. It is my opinion. Maybe it's my experience in my profession where awarding effort and not results leads to an overinflated sense of success that leads to complacency? Who knows. I am cherry picking here, I realize that. But sideline demeanor is something that jumps out at me on screen and I can't ignore it

So, can I kick this guy in the balls yet? -
Fair enough. Or maybe I saw something you didn't? Time will tell. The all-22 Awaits

An average preseason QB who has been glorified by hopeful posters who gleefully clutch onto any possinle answer to the drought? Yes, I absolutely think it would be. I liked watching Peterman. But if you throw him in this game, it gets more difficult to win, not easier -
Do you like his sideline mannerisms? I appreciate his intensity and it seems sincere, but I cannot get over when he claps adamantly when there is a 3 and out, a defensive collapse or even something positive. It is the same robotic motion every time. This thread is ridiculous, I know. But it really pisses me off to see how eager he is to greet his players to the sideline when the just blew a big opportunity. It's up there with: Marrones blank stare Todd Bowles **** eating grin Carrols gum smacking confusion Looks like he might have cracked my top three...

I can't get over the amount of alcoholics on this team. Or is an ankle a weed related issue?

A Few Thoughts About the Panthers Game

Is anyone really surprised? Their offensive scheme was almost identical to that vs the Jets minus the success in the run game. -

TT is widely recognized as having a good deep ball. Yet we don't see it this year. Is that by choice or scheme. From my interpretation, it was dink and dunk, move the chains and play it safe. It's totally possible there were open receivers deep, yet the commentators never acknowledged it, not did I recognize any. As far as throwing it up to J Matt and Zay and hoping for the best, is this really a discussion? How could you "trust" as you've mentioned these receivers to make plays. Between a new acquisition and a rookie, we really are stretching as far as stating it's on TT because he doesn't give these B squad guys a chance. -
Excellent response. Thanks for generalizing my comments to make your point. Did you see this game live? I can't see how this interpretation works. I will gladly eat crow it wrong but his break toward the sideline was intentional. What was your supposed quick read on 4th and long? You're stretching. It was a clear corner route and it didn't connect. IMO because of the execution of the route. But you won't acknowledge that comment. So please explain, what was the intended connection?

Stretch zone vs man concept? Let's give some credit to Carolina here too -
Or... Jones snapped the route out too flat. At first glance it seemed to be a variation of a smash concept with Jones on the corner. In my opinion, that route should be more vertical, towards the front pylon. The throw was there. The receiver should break vertically and bend into the throw of the QB towards the sideline, instead the opposite happened. I cannot say for sure because I am not Rico, but after playing four years of college ball, it jumped out to me that it was the wrong wrote. Could it have been a better ball? Sure. But we are missing this point. This is not on TT nor Jones. They were not put in a position to mke plays today. 10 yard outs and stretch zone will only get you so far

Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods still catch a 10 yard out and run out of bounds... -

THANK YOUUUU people are so insecure with our QB play that a loss immediately results in a tyranny. Watch the film. Please. You get it. We aren't running wide open down the seams and TT is missing it. He does what he is asked to do. -

Please clarify. Is this comment pro: Whaley sucks TT must go or Trade for Luck -
Most alarming is McDermott

Jumping in late here... but I'm assuming this thread is entirely about how terribly annoying it is that McD claps after each play, encouraging the players, regardless of the outcome of said play.
