  1. See, I think he was more of a slash and gash type of guy. Build-your-own Jills?
  2. Doesn't fit the particular skill set the bills lack at WR. Age catching up to him, rather take a stab at a rookie
  3. Anyone arguing their beliefs are more than speculation are ridiculous. That being said, everyone is here because we love the bills, like discussing them and speculation is the entertainment this time of year. I'm sure there are many knowledgeable posters on the board. In fact, many have proven their worth. But it is clear we are really all just guessing because you are right, that we don't know the inside of any organization. But don't be a grump and piss on everyone's parade.
  4. Good post. I see your thought process. However, Im not sure I would agree on this. Beane clearly is moving picks/players to gain draft capital this year and spending money next year. I think he is fully prepared to sacrifice this years first rounders and 2019s first to get their guy (who I’m starting to think is Rosen). This move leaves them with second and third round talents to add a couple starters, and depth at the least. These moves also allows them to be extremely aggressive in FA 2019 to make up for the lost first rounder. These guys seem prepared for this, even with the Jets move. I’ve got to imagine they were anticipating, or aware, that a QB needy team was looking to move up and have a contingency plan that allows them to still follow through on their plan. But who knows, apparently we don't know squat!
  5. Matthews is suited for the slot, as well. He isn’t the perimeter receiver they need to stretch the field.
  6. Is that such a bad thing? Four years of good play?
  7. Totally expect to see him today celebrating Patty's day at Doc Sullivan's
  8. He chose a great weekend to visit. Have fun and be safe out there, everyone!
  9. As much as I've liked Darnold, his NFL readiness worries me. Starting to lean Team Rosen
  10. I'm surprised there isn't more media attention to this
  11. Anyone else think this move opens up the possibility of taking a QB at 22 or later and using 12 on a defender?
  12. Any contract details other than 2 years? Nvm
  13. Drafting a rookie is like buying a new car. As soon as it leaves the lot, it depreciates in value.
  14. That might actually be a great spot for him. Lots of quick hitters in the WCO will get him the ball fast
  15. We won't stay at 12. As previously discussed by other members, it is believed that 12, 22 and 65 can get you into the top 5. That would be tremendous, allowing retention of picks this year and not having to mortgage the future
  16. No way. They are looking tier two FA and a highly touted rookie QB. Think we can put the Foles chatter to bed
  17. When you have three quarterbacks, you don't have one quarterback. MN likely wants to move on with a single signal called, remove any hypotheticals or "what if we would haves" they are built to win now, with so many tremendous defensive players, many still on rookie deals
  18. Niners IMO - established QB situation - tremendous cap room - keeps him in California - need for a number one WR
  19. A chapter has ended. Tyrod was an exciting player and true professional. I'll never forget his elusive scrambles and magic trick plays. I wish things would have worked out here in Buffalo but this is the way of the world. I hope to see him do well in Cleveland. Either way, he made his money, broke our drought and made his name as a QB in this league. Thank you for being a man that I was proud to follow and root for. Be well!
