Football remains a team sport. Look no further than the Packers. They have a top QB of the last decade and can’t seem to get it together. Despite not actually making anything of it, they contend every year due almost entirely to Rogers. This shows the value of the position. It fluctuates between HOFer carrying the team or a game manager relying on the supporting cast. As much as I’d opt for the former, McBean and co. strikes me with the team-oriented approach. Now, given then can get a guy they believe to have the qualities needed to win, they will do so at the right price. I just cannot see them sacrificing their team oriented draft capital for one player, regardless of position
