  1. Wear layers. Club seats are baller.
  2. I used to have seasons for years, but had to give them up based on life (house, marraige, job, dog). My questions is: does going to the game, buying season tickets, or investing in the team in any financial way, make you a bigger fan than someone who watches at home and has little to no skin in a the game? I have had this argument with a friend of mine who goes to every home game. He offered me up tickets twice this year, to which I wasn't able to go. His response is always "dude, what happened? You used to be such a die-hard fan!?" I still watch every game, listen to WGR, read a ***** ton of articles and feel as devoted as ever. So to me, not attending games doesn't make me feel like less of a fan, especially since I went for years. Thoughts?
  3. Despite the early success of this team, I worry they don't have the experience or the depth to keep up the push toward playoffs. The win streak was riddled with one goal games and OT wins, which they just aren't getting anymore. Aside from the Eichel line, there is no real offensive threat. I've liked the Larson line with Zengus and Tage but, the 2/3 lines have been weak. My hope for this team is that JB takes a pick and gets an experienced second line center, so Middlestadt can bump down to the 3rd line. Maybe it's time to shake the lines up, Hous
  4. Would you consider three 12 oz cups, all before noon, a lot of coffee consumption? Asking for a friend...
  5. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Catches blocks and cannot get off of them. His tremendous athletic ability doesn't necessarily seen him fit at MLB. Of course, that was an overstatement, but if there is one area I'd like to say he has to improve on, it's his ability to be physical against the run when filling holes regardless of if it is to make a tackle or meet a guard.
  6. Usually hour and a half before kick, so 11:30
  7. It's been my experience that pregame is actually your best shot. If you can get in when the gates open, head to somewhere, preferably behind their bench, right on the first row as soon as possible. You could try the tunnel after the game, but I think it'll be more difficult to get in their.
  8. I'm not even sure this franchise knows there's a race.
  9. Yes. Usually cut off the front to reuse for work
  10. I should have, but it never corrected in our league
  11. The dude was carried by Rogers for years. What makes you think having DARNOLD as his head hancho will suddenly put the Jets into contention? They are the Packers offense without Rogers: no play makers. EDIT: I don't think it's smart to base your own head coaching decisions on another teams moves. That's the equivalent of buying a new car because you neighbor got one.
  12. Like it or hate it, let's hope it never matters
  13. Glad to see some secondary scoring, just like Housley is looking for. It's a shame some stupid mistakes kept them a point.
  14. I don’t care who or how, but DREAM scenario: -add dynamic offensive play maker at WR -add 3 serviceable/solid offensive lineman -add dynamic pass rusher -add depth/skill to TE position room -bring back Kyle/LoRax for one more -advances with rookie/sophomore play -advances in play calling/game management add a dash of salt and a pinch of pepper and we win the Super Bowl.
  15. Tonight is the type of game you must win. I can't take the losses to top tier teams and sneaking points away from others, but you must beat the team that is in front of you. And tonight that so happens to be a bad Panthers team. If you want to be a playoff team, beat the teams you should and look no further ahead than tonight.
  16. .4 point loss to a drunk in semi-finals. God *****.
  17. I wouldn't p1ss down his throat if his heart was on fire, let alone sign the guy. ***** the pats.
  18. Knowing we could go into Foxboro next week and potentially keep them from getting a first round playoff bye is the such a guilty pleasure.

  20. There is actually a pretty decent TE crop in free agency this year. I'd like to see them bring in two: possibly someone more experiences as Jared Cook as well as a younger, higher upside player like Maxx Williams.
