Thats exactly right. They paid him prematurely IMO. However their cap situation allows them to do that, IIRC. I think it may very well turn out to be a premature mistake. But given their current cap situation, it’s a potential mistake that may be worth some risk. I suppose they’d rather be sure they can keep him if all goes well this year. If he bombs, they can have their back up QB and still have the money available to get a starter elsewhere

Couldn’t agree more. I’m not nearly as sold on the Smoke Brown hype as others are. I see him as a one trick pony. I just don’t buy the camp reports. As far as Beasley, I know listing them as a number is trivial, but I’d think his production and value credits him a #2 role. Did you call him a three because he plays in the slot, and won’t necessarily be in their “base” formation? I can understand that

I think a #3 QB matters zero. If you’ve got a strong back up at the position and are a sound team, your season should be okay if your QB goes down. That being said, if your #3 has to play, your season is likely in trouble anyways.

It seems predetermined thread topics (I.e. officiating) floods the board as much as any other thread might. It essentially went unused, yet sat pinned. As a mobile user, it makes it one more thing to scroll through. It's a good idea in theory. However, I've never minded multiple threads on a single topic, especially if their new discussions or are adding something original. With the group chats, all dialogue and conversation becsmes mashed and buried into a single thread, making it difficult to get into the convo if you're jumping in late.
