Chances are, based on the reality we live in, many high-profile assailants have their crimes dismissed, settled or swept under the rug. ill go on record saying that I imagine this is settled out of the blue, never sees trial or has little to no impact on his availability in the league. Im not doubting her story at all. We’ve just seen this scenario play out time and time again.

Fantastic at times so far. If i’ve noticed an area where he could improve in his pass rush, he has now wiffed on two sacks due to being moving full speed toward the QB (1 preseason, 1 yesterday) It is a tough thing to manage. How do you a tell a player as explosive as EO to play more under control? Super excited to see what he can develop into, especially if he can start to finish the plays when the opportunity is there.

Taron Johnson hamstring injury
EmotionallyUnstable replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure this is 100% He made some good plays but was also shook out of his shoes at times and ran over by Bell on one occasion. -
In a world where McD says he wants the best 5 on the field, it is absolutely relevant how he plays regardless of his potential ceiling in comparison to the rest of the OL talent. If he isn’t getting the job done at RT, he should be moved to guard or sat full time of he isn’t improving our chances to win. The rotation doesn’t make sense in any scenario IMO. If you want to argue that he should play even if he isn’t currently a top 5 OL, go for it

Rich Gannon: not a great color guy
EmotionallyUnstable replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure you can make that argument because it’s on paper and an easy one. It’s obvious to someone not in tune with the franchise. Is that the story of this team? No way. We’re still in the hunt for pass rush help and are likely looking to invest at the DE position next offseason. But they cling to something like that because it’s in the numbers. How about the commentary on any of the following: -Edmunds growth -Lorax playing DT and rushing the passer -Shaq Lawson’s declined 5th year option -an undrafted second year corner in wallace -Taron johnson who had an up and down game -Ed Oliver?!?!? thats just the defense -

See like this is the problem. You don’t have to be a beat writer to know the ins and outs of the team. I feel like I could cover 10-12 teams tomorrow and probably relatively knowledgeable about their staff, players, administration, etc. This guy does it for a living, and has a whole host of spotters and a media team helping him with stats/commentary. Give me a guy who’s just a bum in his basement breaking down film and being honest. I’d pay for that commentary. Just pay attention a little bit! -

Im still a little pissed about the win! That was not the football game either of our teams hoped for. We just ended up on the right side of it. Good luck the rest of the way...the Jests are the least of my AFC East Foes, and I’m especially rooting for my boy DARNOLD as I’m on record saying that boy is going to be a star. -

Exactly you’re not a real jets fan. You’re posting on a Bills football forum. edit: I’m just bustin your meatballs Fredo -
I guess I’ve never paid any attention to it before. Here a few things he said that bugged me: -Called Josh Bellamy John Brown and went on a 30 second rant about how “Smoke Brown” would be good for the Jets (both #15 to be fair) -Said the Bills have spent a lot of money on their DL since McD has been there. Not true. They’ve extended Hughes, signed Murphy to a reasonable deal, DECLINED a 5th year option on a player who was great today at DE, and drafted a 1st round talent. -Criticized Allen for the pick 6 when I don’t think it was really on him as much as it was on Beasley. - couldn’t get off LeVeon Bell’s jock, even when the game had clearly moved into new territory. I appreciate discussing free agent moves and how that effects the game but we have a whole offseason for that. - Finally, there was a failed jailbreak screen to Zay Jones where Robert Foster CLEARY blocked the wrong guy and he didn’t even analyze the play, just called it a bad play call All in all, I just really can’t stand the national broadcast being inept to provide me a good service for watching the games. Idc if you are a HOF QB, Id rather a guy who is invested in the roster and the game, and can comment of what is actually happening on the field. Am am I being unrealistic in my expectations? P.S. I like Kevin Harlan.

Best part of being a Jets fan is when they lose, you just disappear until the eve of their next game. My friend mike from Staaaattteeennn Iiiisland does that same thing. Great job, Spags. See you in December. -
Im with you on the groove and rotation. But if you want to start your best five, play your best five. He isn’t going to learn on the fly watching from the sideline once every three series. ThTs what sideline time is for when the defense is on the field. Between series and on Mondays should be this kids film review. Let him play, make mistakes and experience the game. By all means he is physically where he needs to be. The mental part of the game isn’t going to happen mid-game IMO. I like the idea of Ford at guard this year. It will allow him to use his physicality and minimize the effect of his error. If they eventually want to kick him to tackle, great. Spain wasn’t all that great today and Feliciano was full of penalties. It wouldn’t hurt the OL to have Ford play G What do you mean, will be? Aren’t we playing to win?

Are we concerned about Beasley’s hands ?

I think you’re the king of short, concise answers to ridiculous threads that ask questions that don’t have any real consequence regarding the success of this Bills team. Congratulations! Maybe. -

Not sure how Rich Gannon blames that on Allen. Even if it was a throw off the mark, it wasn’t by any means a ball that was in danger of being intercepted. It was a fluke play, 9/10 that incomplete ball hits the ground. Either way, IMO that pick was more on Beasley than Allen -
Right? Seems like a funny way to integrate an OL. Considering a lot of what rookie lineman deal with is stunts, different fronts and how to adapt to the speed/movement of the NFL game, idk how you do that in game with hindsight. Let the kid play and coach him up on Monday. If you aren’t confident in his abilities to leave him in full time, he shouldn’t be left protecting the franchise QB
