  1. Everyone super concerned over the return of Kareem Hunt need to pump the brakes... Look at the teams/RBs the Bills have already faced so far his season. They’ve held up relatively well against them all, with the exception of some bone head missed assignments and tackles when, quite frankly, they had the RBs dead to rights. Nick Chubb is, and has been, a top back in the league this season. He is a big and strong player, much resembling AP in style. If you should be concerned about anyone in the run game, it’s him. Kareem hasn’t played ball in over a year. How many touches do you really think he’ll get? Are they going to take away the ball from their best player to give it to a guy who hasn’t shown squat since playing with Andy Reid’s fire power offense? Humans tend to have an irrational fear of the unknown, and for some reason, it’s always amplified when is comes to the Bills
  2. As others have mentioned, it’s near impossible to know what their assignments/rules/keys are on these plays. That being said, there is one major issue here regardless: Hesitation. Their lack of reaction directly leads to them catching blocks on their heels. that being said, the defense is still playing well. McD would rather give up those runs than a big pass play IMO. Having players as twitchy and athletic as Milano/Edmunds means we sacrifice size and “fill” in the middle.
  3. lol so take an explosive quick twitch player who would otherwise be lined up against slower guards/centers and move him out to face 1v1 a more agile Tackle?
  4. Ahhh didn’t see that one
  5. FWIW, this is what @ScottLaw is referring to with Edmunds. His hesitation here is a killer. The BACKSIDE GUARD was able to make the block here because he’s playing too much on his heels and not playing downhill quick enough. IMO he should have ran across and THROUGH THAT guard’s face. You see Milano scraping (he hesitates too and is late to the play) and had Edmunds gotten across the face of the Guard, I would imagine he’d be in position to close that gap down, possibly allowing Milano the time to get there. McD’s one gap defense only works if everyone truly honors their gap. The hesitation comes from lack of trust. In this scenario, had both (or either) Edmunds and Milano been down hill and more decisive, I think this dead at the LOS. this is just one example, but the 250 lb MLB has a tendency to play too often like a 150 lb player.
  6. this was a good fill by Edmunds IMO. Taron just needs to make that play. McD says it all the time...gap integrity. Tremaine came downhill to fill his gap.
  7. I hate this. Why did I ever let myself think for one second that this would be a Baltimore win. Efff this I’m going to bed
  8. Just make them drive the field, no easy points
  9. disagree. I rather them shorten the game and keep Brady in the bench.
  10. No cheap points, Balt. No blocked punts or pick sixes. Too many teams have just given the patriots points this year
  11. I hope Dabol is watching. the way Roman is using misdirection on that drive is phenomenal.
  12. it’d get a roughing the passer penalty and a $21,000 fine
