  1. Not a chance I’m sleeping. This is too good.
  2. Its been that way really since Knox has come back from injury
  3. What do you mean? He didn’t even make the pro bowl?
  4. I’ve been cool all day but now the nerves are setting in.
  5. Need to cover in the RZ. I bet the over…
  6. Today I will attempt to execute the 5 B’s of Fanhood: Beer, Boobs, Bets, Bills and BPizza. Good luck, boys!
  7. It’s also possible that his scrambles are higher and designed runs lower. I don’t know the number this year or compared to previous years but I could see that giving a false sense of how often he runs.
  8. I had a dream last night the bills absolutely harassed NE on the opening drive of the game, encapsulated by a crushing Epinessa sack. 4th down was a botched punt/emergency pass that (wait for it) Manny Sanders picked. Then my alarm went off.
  9. Allen ran the ball 20 more times this season than the last two years (yes I know extra game) for nearly double the yardage. I wouldn’t call his usage limited, in regards to previous seasons
  10. I think they banned them a few years back but I may be wrong
  11. Usually he cuts OFF the sleeves
  12. I get it, I just don’t think that is McD and Fraiser’s style. If I wanted them to change something schematically, I think it’d be how they approach the run game and the depth they have their safeties playing: When you look at our defense, traditionally we have at least one if not both safeties playing 15-20 yards deep. I am much more concerned about the ground game with NE, and want to see our LBs play downhill decisively. The issue with this becomes how wide open the PA game becomes over the middle of the field (I.e. see Titans game). If we roll those safeties down a bit I think it would really allow Edmunds/Milano to be decisive in their reads by taking some pressure off of their backend zone drops and onto the shoulders of our safeties. This would open them up to deep passes, double moves and really hang our secondary out to dry. I think that is okay and worth the risk for many reasons: - we have phenomenal safeties - our DL seems to be getting to the QB -Jones doesn’t scare me with a deep ball -If those LBs are coming down hill, at a certain point, they will just keep going and they’ll be extra rushers in the PA game. I would not expect McD or Fraiser to do this regularly, but I could absolutely see zone run blitzes regularly dialed up.
  13. Davis Webb
  14. I think they historically do the opposite. They usually try and get away with rushing 4 early, and bring out heavier blitz packages later in the game. I don’t expect this week to be any different
  15. I’m going to kindly ask that every keep their ideal playoff scenarios in another spot. In fact, let’s try to keep this thread focused on the pats game. Otherwise this bad boy will be 50 pages by Wednesday. Looking forward to a home playoff game. That crowd will be insane and I think our defensive line is firing on all cylinders going into the playoffs. We are relatively healthy compared to most teams at this point in the year. Allen loves prime time games. People hate the patriots. This is fixing to be a huge celebration or an embarrassing night.
  16. No idea. I was unaware that was the practice.
