  1. We going to get the rookie QB in his first start on the road against arguably the #1 defense in the league?
  2. Bump. The Bills CANNOT continue to have only 5 WRs active on game day. They need bodies. The Miami game and today proved this. They keep leaving themselves short handed to carry 3 RBs, two of which rarely play. Shakir had a good day today. But this doesn’t thread is more than that. They need to find a way to carry 6 guys into every game, as they have in years past. We we’re down to Diggs, a hobbled Davis, and Shakir today. That can’t happen.
  3. The only stat from today that will help him in the MVP race is the W. Meanwhile Lamar made a crucial error and picked up the L
  4. He’s an all-pro IMO
  5. He drew some tough assignments, especially on those ISO runs where he has to meet Ricard in the hole 1v1…that is not an easy job. He made some good open field tackles. I still think Oliver is the priority and then edmunds
  6. They gave him his incentive for making extra $$$ this year. He is well toward earning that bonus. Good for him. Contract extension talks can wait until after we win the SB. He is a great player, no doubt. He is also on the backend of hai career. Beane should be in no rush to give a ton of guaranteed money to him until we see what happens with this team this year.
  7. Oliver would have been a nice chess piece to have with handling Lamar Jackson. I am guessing he will be good to go next weekend.
  8. 15:00 left in the 1st quarter. Nahhh it’s over!
  9. Certainly interesting, especially as I watch my retirement account continue to lose money! I think there is no “one size fits all” for planning for the future. It really depends on input/output, length of career and what you want in all stages of your life. For my wife and I, the last 10 years of our youth, we had small incomes and yet managed to save well and keep bills extremely modest. We lived well within our means, and yet, we were perfectly happy with that because the things we did and places we enjoyed weren’t fancy or expensive. Our apartment, house, cars, trips, food, drink was never of the finest and most expensive because we were living the good life. Young, flexibility with time and money, and just figuring out what we wanted in life. Now that we are hitting the middle-age stages of life, we’ve since worked our way to higher wages, while maintaining what we used to contribute to savings. As we’ve started a family and settled into this stage in life, we chose to take on much higher expenditures (mortgage, cars, children). Our monthly flexibility is not what it used to be, even though we make way more than a decade ago. We are perfectly happy with that, because although we have to me much more conscious of our spontaneous purchases, the return from those investments in our home and our family is well worth the increase cost. By the time we retire, our house will (hopefully!) be paid off, which is a gigantic piece of our monthly bills. Between that decrease in cost, our pensions, 403B, Roth IRA and personal savings, we are hoping to maintain our quality of life. Nothing fancy, but comfortable with the flexibility to do what we please within moderation. If I were to give any young, up and comer advice regarding long-term savings, I’d definitely be to make sure you have cash on hand. It doesn’t matter how much your have in accounts you can’t touch until you’re 63 if ***** hits the fan when you’re 45. Save what you can, live how you want to, enjoy today because tomorrow isn’t a given, but you want to be sure you’ll be good to go when and if you make it to retirement.
  10. It’s an ode to his running mate: 14
  11. I can’t think of any food in the whole world that better depicts the persona of our lord and savior, Josh Allen: A 14” Wegman’s sub. Think about it… This meaty, goofy ass sandwich somehow always brings a smile to my face. No matter if it’s hot and toasted or an old fashioned assorted, this wonderful sandwich always keeps me coming back for more. Even after I finish my last quarter, I always think to myself “wow, these things are really under appreciated. I wish I had another!” You cannot get enough of this kid. It’s versatile, layered, intricate and yet sloppy in a way that cannot be replicated because the mess is a beautiful mash-up that just always seems to get the job done. He isn’t the overrated chicken wing, or the wildly inconsistent pizza that Buffalo offers. He is the steady, reliable, home grown talent that our city and NY region has come to love. I am now dumbfounded, the more that I think of it, that I haven’t seen Allen in a Wegman’s commercial holding up a Danny’s Favorite while dousing Pinto Ron in sub oil and mayonnaise. Josh Allen is undoubtedly a Wegman’s sub. Go Bills.
  12. Curious how others have done theirs: My wife and I bought a CD from the ultrasound where the technician typed “it’s a girl” over the video. We shared the video with family and friends. My sister did the cupcake method. I’ve seen a basketball dunked that turned the driveway pink. My one buddy waited to be surprised. Some are way over the top.
  13. Well that changes things. Maybe throw it . Dial up your best play here
  14. Run the ball 2 more times and if you don’t convert, FG. Kill those TOS and clock
  15. Still gotta finish. Let’s go bengals come on
  16. No life on that bengals sideline
  17. Just realized that I hate Joe Burrow’s hair cut
  18. Yes also have to blame Higgins route, he faded that wheel, needs to keep it straight, give himself a yard or two of space down the sideline
  19. Fantastic read and tackle
  20. That’s the 4th down I want to see them go for
