This is men against boys today. It'll be ugly. -

How anyone can think Cardale would be worse than Tyrod is funny. An eight year old can do this. -

If The defense and/or the team in general is running for the bus today it is a DIRECT reflection of Rex and why the change has to be made sooner than later. -

Roethlisberger has ALL day. Every single time. Just like every other QB we play against. -

What exactly does Darby bring to the team? Can't cover and can't tackle. -

That's three big plays given up by the defense already. -

3 and out. Shocked. I'm so torn today. I wanted the Bills to win out. BUT if losing today results in Rex and Tyrod being gone, I'm thinking there are more than a few Bills fans silently or maybe not so silently hoping for a Steelers win. -

Gonna be a longggg day for this ****ty defense. They've never been able to tackle. On a slippery snowy field that gets amplified. As we just saw. -
Exactly. He will talk his way out of being fired. He will blame injuries just like he did last year and Whaley and the Pegulas will eat it up. The ONLY good thing Rex can do anymore is talk BIG. This will save his ass once again. But you'd have to think next year is his final chance to get it right. Wouldn't you? Any other franchise than the Bills...

Regarding the general direction of the Bills and Doug Whaley
Billznut replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It also might have something to do with this franchise being embarrassingly mired in losing and ineptitude going on 17 seasons and counting. Just possibly the fans anger is WELL earned by this franchise. Has Whaley found a franchise QB or gotten this team to the playoffs? No he hasn't, criticism justified for most. -

We need more articles like this from Vic to put the pressure on Pegula to make changes. Hopefully the pressure will continue and the majority of fans get on this bandwagon to demand that Pegula makes the necessary changes this franchise sorely needs. But if I had to bet money, I'd bet on Pegula doing nothing this off season. Rex will talk his way out of being fired, blaming everything on injuries, exactly like he did last year. -
Rex Ryan coaches old school. Ground and pound, play defense, minimize turnovers. That USED to be the recipe for success in the NFL 20-30 years ago. Now you need a forward thinking coach. Able to adapt during the game, make the necessary adjustments. This rarely happens. Teams with true franchise qbs are always in a game and usually in playoff contention year after year. Until the Bills have a true franchise QB they won't win. 17 years and quite frankly since Kelly retired makes this irrefutable logic.

What does keeping Rex a 3rd year accomplish?
Billznut replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. So many people here are afraid to want any changes. Why in the world does anyone care about continuity, with the QB, the head coach or even the GM. This team has done NOTHING in 17 years. People act like this franchise has something to lose or could go backwards. There is zero difference between 4-12 and 8-8 or even 9-7. None of these records gets you to the playoffs let alone the Super Bowl. The team needs major changes. Pegula won't do it. Not this year. -
What the Raider Game should have shown everyone
Billznut replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This team needs a new starting WR, SS, RT before next year. At a minimum. You can throw in a franchise QB in there as well. But that ain't happening. Even with three new starters; you're still looking at 7-10 wins. There will be NO championship quality team here until you have a franchise QB and different head coach. Until that happens we are all just spinning our tires and wasting our time. -

The Bills are what they are. A 8-8 type team. It never changes. Until Pegula finally decides he actually wants to win and makes the changes in the organization that are needed NOTHING will change. We will win 7,8,9 games next year and the year after and so on. -

The homers shouldn't get pissed at the posters here. Direct your anger where it's deserved. Tyrod, Rex, Whaley, Pegula. Take your pick. Plenty of blame with this organization. No poster here contributes to anything good or bad that happens on the field. Acknowledge this team isn't even close to being a playoff team. There IS a reason for that. -

I hope Pegula gets his head out of his ass and makes the necessary changes. But I'm definitely not counting on it. He's in love with Rex. He's getting what he deserves. -

Couldn't be more obvious this team gave up in the second half. Very sad although not shocking. Better luck next year. Hopefully with a new QB and coach but doubt it. -

3 unanswered touchdowns. The Bills defense is a non factor as usual. Good thing we have a defensive genius running this team. Game and season slipping away and the Bills are just watching it happen like innocent bystanders. -

This defense blows. As so our defensive coaches. If the Bills can't win this game, which they won't, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyways. Good teams don't blow 15 point leads in the second half. We do. -

Difference between a good team and a loser mentality team like us. Raiders went for it. We were trying to kill the clock and get to halftime. Rex is too conservative. Gets you nowhere.
