At this point, you’re correct. I never liked the co-mvp idea. This year it actually is starting to make some sense. Highly doubt it’ll happen. Lamar has all the momentum now from the talking heads. And just a couple weeks ago Florio was saying he was voting for Josh. He is one of many flip floppers the past few weeks.

Luckily that’s not how sports work or there would be no reason to watch. Each game is a separate entity. Injuries definitely affect how a team may perform. But just because the Steelers haven’t played well their last four games doesn’t mean they won’t this weekend. Ravens are the more talented team no doubt. Steelers are certainly capable of the upset. They have beaten this team plenty and aren’t phased by Lamar. Would I bet money on the Steelers, no. But they definitely can upset the Ravens. Depends which Steelers team shows up. Same can be said for any of these games. There is almost always an upset on wild card weekend, usually a couple.

I know I watched you say dozens of times Allen had it all wrapped up because Vegas Vegas Vegas. That’s what you said. Until today.
-
Someone changed their tune awfully quickly.
-
I wonder how many millions you bet on Allen winning MVP since you have stated dozens of posts here saying it’s over he’s winning cause of Vegas blah blah blah. Well now Vegas says Jackson. And Vegas is never wrong. If you haven’t bet heavily on Josh to win MVP before today. Surely now with the odds stacked against him would be the time you’ll make your move and lay down heavy money on Allen to win.
-
Yep that’s the moment it all changed. It’s been a snowball rolling down the mountain, gaining steam by the talking heads for Lamar ever since.
-
You should have placed that bet yesterday or anytime before now. You would have made way more money. Not as much point now.

Tell the voters. Not me. I’m aware

The tide has been changing the last 3-4 weeks unfortunately. I’ve posted that numerous times in this thread that it looked like this was coming for various reasons and even after being shot down by mods and some of the resident geniuses here, it’s now looking more official that Josh is going to get screwed. It’s sad and unfair to him. Hopefully this just puts an even bigger chip on his shoulder and he takes it out on everyone on the field over the next few weeks.
-
I’m aware. But Jackson clearly has a lot of support on his side. And it’s been gathering steam for the past 3 or so weeks. I think the vote is going to be extremely close. Hopefully Josh gets it.
-
Yep. Jackson also just named first team all pro by PFF
-
I guess we are about to find out. Lamar Jackson was just named NFLPA first team all pro QB for 2024. Jackson was also just named first team all pro by PFF.
-
I’m hoping way more that Pittsburgh knocks off Baltimore this weekend. I think clearing out Baltimore makes our path easier than someone knocking off KC. But either one happening would be a big plus.

Bills 30 Broncos 21 One of those games where the Bills let the opposition hang around but you never really feel threatened by them.

He is definitely the poster child for all unhinged libs. I’m loving it that he’s so miserable along with all those other losers. The more he posts and attacks, you know the more miserable he is. Love it.

Bill Barnwell of ESPN just chimed in with his prediction for MVP on SVP’s nightly show and oh so predictability announced Lamar Jackson will win MVP. The vast majority of ESPN talking pie holes jumped off the Allen MVP train within the last 3 weeks. Greeny, Orlavsky and Rex still in Allen’s corner. At least Orlavsky gets an actual vote.

Detroit also is good at actually getting near the QB on those blitzes. Thats the difference.
-
Detroit has put on a clinic on how to pressure a QB tonight. Impressive.
-
Try calling the NFL hundreds of times in the next couple hours and complaining. They just may change up the time.
-
They need to trade down from #4. Stockpile picks and if they hire Vrabel, along with Maye progressing and piling up picks they will probably turn that franchise around in a couple more years. They will certainly pass Miami and the Jets by 2026 and maybe even by next year to be the resident second place team in the division for the rest of Allen’s tenure with Buffalo.
-
That franchise has zero clue what it’s doing. They were either idiots to hire Mayo last year or they are idiots to give up on him after one year when that team had very little talent and a rookie QB. Either way, the Patriots are idiots, lost the first pick and I’m happy.

1/5/2025 Week 18 GAMEDAY Bills @ Patriots* Post Game Thread

Now we get to see all the uneducated Ravens and Chiefs fans attempt to troll us for losing to the Pats when they didn’t even watch the game and know the plan. -

Pats at a minimum will fall from #1 pick to #4 pick with Cleveland, Tenn and NYG all losing today. Huge team mistake today to win this game. Glad to see the Pats still can’t do anything right. -

Same as the Pats are doing to Trubisky making him look semi competent.
