Maybe they retain Chan and Buddy but Ralph tells them YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE THE QB AND DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR AND KICKER. I dunno anything is possible.

Not to mention he pissed Ralph off about comments about Ralphs daughter, that's why he was fired in the first place. He's NEVER coming back to Buffalo.

Though I don't think it is right and I think he is a pretty decent HC, I think Lovie Smith in Chicago is on a very hot seat.

announcers just said the Bills 3rd down defense is worst in the league. I wonder by how much they are the worst? I haven't seen other teams 3rd down defenses look this bad.

What did I win?

That was the first time watching Smith and about the 5th time have seen Nassib this year. I wasn't terribly impressed with either yesterday but that could be blamed on the weather. As far as evaluating the two QBs, Nassib looks the more ready pro. Smith seems to be the beneficiary of two stud receivers, and a scheme that just keeps the defense off balance. Lots of short line of scrimmage throws for Smith and YAC, didn't seem to have much of a vertical passing game where Nassib did, and Nassib seemed to look for and use all his targets. The most impressive thing I saw yesterday was D Marrones mindset to just keep smashing the running game at WVU, that was impressive that he didn't waver even when the game was tied or close, just run the damn ball, impressive. Too bad Chan couldn't learn something from that game because Buffalo could be a lot better with better play calling and play smash mouth football.

So is the problem, bad coaching or an overall lack of talent? Is the coach failing because he is trying to be creative because of the lack of talent and he is just no good at being creative? Yeah, I don't think Gailey has done very well but having no pro bowlers 2 years in a row screams volumes of how weak the talent is that Gailey has had to work with.

Haven't read the whole thread but, yeah they need to get rid of Gailey. If nothing more than to just appease the fan base so they can sell tickets and promote the shiny new toy(coach).

You do know that you can get a concussion without even hitting you head, right? As K-9 pointed out, taking a shoulder, chest, back blow may have some sort of whiplash effect and cause a concussion. It is the old physics saying, an object in motion tends to stay in motion. The only thing that stops the brain is the skull, not a helmet.

100% correct. A concussion is a by product of the brain slapping the inside of the skull. No helmet can stop that.
