  1. Show me a QB that played more than 5 years that has had similar EJ issues.
  2. Rookie stats mean nothing, as Orton is still in the league after 10 years and EJ will be lucky to see 4 years. EJ has too many deficiencies to be a successful QB. All these other QBs who keep getting brought up as (not as good as EJ in their rookie year) obviously didn't have as many issues as EJ and are still playing. The guys that had lots of issues like EJ are long gone after a couple years.
  3. I'll lean towards the defensive coordinators figuring his weaknesses out and this is the end result. It is not going to get better for EJ, IMHO his days are numbered in the NFL.
  4. EJs future did start this past Monday when he was demoted.
  5. Thought that was Geno Smith but I could be wrong.
  6. Orton most likely reads the defense pre snap and adjusted the blocking or changes the play and finds the hot WR and delivers the ball within 2 seconds. What escapeability EJ can do with his legs, I believe Orton can do with his brain pre snap. So no I don't think Orton would have been killed.
  7. Guys were wide open and he didn't make the throws, he also made the wrong decisions on who to throw the ball to. He wasn't properly reading the defense pre snap. WTF do you want the OC to do if the QB flat out sucks and can't execute a simple pass? C'mon it's borderline ridiculous to keep blaming the OC for the QB deficiencies.
  8. Totally different. You are asking someone to throw a ball into a stationary bucket 20 feet away with no other people around. Sorry but in the NFL QBs usually have to hit a moving target with gigantic men in their face and chasing them trying to hurt them. Apples and oranges comparison.
  9. Who cares, he stinks. Hopefully he never sees the field again in a Bills uniform.
  10. If nothing else, Ortons insertion just made all the Bills opponents play honest defense. They are not going to be able to creep and stack the box like the first 4 games. That all by itself will make the oline and the whole offense look better. I counted a few different times where Houston had 9 in the box, you can't run against that or short dump off against that, why do you think Hackett called so many pass plays, because of that. It was just that EJ failed to execute.
  11. Yeah, I don't think so. EJ isn't tradeable and will be out of the league in 2 years. Bank it!
  12. And I guarantee you Orton will perform light years better than EJ. Guaranteed!
  13. Marrone is not getting fired. He has turned this roster into a competitive respectable team regardless of how EJ has played. That in itself is a major accomplishment compared to years past. Marrone has righted the ship and it is setting sail for the top of the heap, so yeah let's fire the best coach the Bills have had in 15 years, makes sense to me. He is also calls it like it is and doesn't seem to play favorites, the best players play period, I can 100% respect that.
  14. Or Marrone was planning all along to start Orton and have EJ sit but got into a shouting match at training camp. Said shouting match resulted in Marrone giving in and saying ok I'll start him but after 4 games he is done if he stinks. FWIW, I think Hacketts gameplan was to be pass happy as he figured the Texans would stack the box ( which they did, as I counted 9 close to the LOS numerous times), it just didn't work, though WR were open, because the QB is beyond terrible.
  15. Haha, he is, he's the starting QB of the Buffalo Bills.
  16. This. Bad QB play makes everything and everybody else look bad.
  17. Have you? because he didn't LOSE his job to Tebow. Tebow was given the job because he was the prized 1st round pick.
  18. Yep, he was done dirty in Denver when they drafted Tebow.
  19. It's going to be very very difficult to be as bad as EJ. If he is, who knows, right now who cares, EJ is THAT bad. It will not take a whole lot to be better than EJ so i'm really not too worried. I'm actually really excited, a QB who knows how to play QB is going to be playing for the Buffalo Bills this week.
  20. No way Orton is going to suck as bad as EJ. Orton is a proven NFL caliber QB.
  21. EJ is listed as 6'4" 237lb Luck 6'4" 240lb, Kapernick 6'4" 230, Stafford 6'3" 234, Foles 6'6" 243, Rivers 6'5" 228, Roethlisberger, 6'5" 241, Flacco 6'6" 245, Bortles 6'5" 232, Newton 6'5" 245, Palmer 6'5" 235, P Manning 6'5" 230, Brady 6'4" 225, Romo 6'2" 230. So yeah half the league is just as big as EJ if not bigger.
  22. Have not seen the running or the strong arm as of yet and a lot of QBs are 6'4" 230lbs. When saying "physical talents", it tells me he has something bigger and better than other guys, which really isn't true as most all NFL QBs have similar "physical talents". Haven't seen any of these so called talents on display, and doubt he really has anything more special than anybody else.
