  1. Isn't that what the 14 games he has started suggest? So in your eyes, one last game on the road vs New England is going to answer all the questions? Questions, IMO that have already been answered, if they weren't answered, why is Orton playing at all? Did you see Carr yesterday? What, 15 games into his 1st year, he looked the part, he appears to have "IT", you can't say that about EJ. He has yet to look like Carr, I don't think he will ever look like Carr. Oh by the way Carr's weapons are way inferior to what EJ has had.
  2. Not really, anybody with any kind of brain can see EJ is no good. There is no right or wrong about it, EJ is what he is and that is a bad QB. Just calling it like I see it. I'm not delusional like you and fabricate things to fit your argument. Sorry you are having a hard time accepting the fact that EJ has a whole ton of problems that are not easily corrected, maybe you can follow golf or tennis or something that takes a little less brain power.
  3. Totally irrelevant, but Wilson doesn't need to pass a lot because he has superior mental capacity to EJ. Yes, Orton has been a huge upgrade over EJ, and that should show you how bad EJ was that Orton is a huge upgrade. And no I don't think Orton has a future here, the QB of the immediate future isn't on the roster yet.
  4. I don't really know, other than getting the ball to him in space so I might line him up as a flanker or slot guy 60% of the time. They could go back and look at old game film of how Chan utilized him.
  5. They either need you utilize Spiller talents better or let him walk because keeping him and using him in the same capacity is a waste and just taking up a roster spot.
  6. So you want TPegs to clean house yet complain about the revolving door that has been going on for 15 years. Yeah that's it, makes total sense. Let's fire the best HC we have had in 15 years and start all over again.
  7. Well at least the Bills did one smart thing this year. They didn't sign Orton to a huge long team contract when he was playing good, like they did Fitzpatrick. Hey they are learning over there at 1 Bills Dr.
  8. Orton is not that good but come on, the defense lost this one, but keep mindlessly blaming Orton and the offense.
  9. Never going to be a team in London.
  10. Why? Lots of guys play with casts on their arms or hands. Steve Deberg comes to mind, where he had a screw sticking out the end of his pinkey finger and played a game. Emmitt Smith played with a separated shoulder once.
  11. I think he gets quite a few looks and offers and has a job right away. In the inner NFL circle he has taken a total laughingstock of a team and made them play hard, win, and be relevant again. Not easy to do in just 2 years, so yeah I think he would be snapped up right away.
  12. Ya know for Trestman to throw Cutler by the wayside and go with an absolutely horrible QB in Clauson tells me all I need to know about the coaching situation and coaching decision making there in Chicago land. While I do not think Cutler is on a Rogers, Brady, Manning level (who else is frankly), I do not think he is as bad as he is being made out to be by being benched. I think what is going on there is a complete malfunction of the whole team and now Trestman has used Cutler as the fall guy to try and save his own job. I think Cutler is beyond frustrated with everything from bad coaching, bad oline play, wrong route running, and just a bad team in general, that he has just checked out and was going through the motions. Say what you want about that but I think he performs better on a better team with better coaches, players and better atmosphere. I would try it, as I don't think if a team was a SB contender and Cutler was the QB that that position was the only one holding the team back, he's not that bad at all.
  13. Watched that game the other night and once the Bears got down it seemed like Cutler checked out. He seemed defeated and uninterested and was just going through the motions. He still seemed like he was trying to a certain degree but was at a frustration point of whatever. Yeah his body language seemed as if he didn't care but he also seemed soooo fed up with his supporting cast and the Bears in general, that he is done in Chicago. I think a change of scenery will do him wonders, that doesn't mean he will all of a sudden become a Pro Bowler or anything or he will have a new and great attitude, but I can understand the frustration he is having on that mess of a team in Chicago. Would it work here in Buffalo, TBD maybe with a good team around him he gets way more motivated and interested. IDK but it might be worth a shot if the price is right, can't be worse.
  14. To date Schwartz has only proven to be a good defensive coordinator and a bad head coach. He was fired from Detroit, because they were not good under his reign, and look where Detroit has gone with essentially the same talent. That certainly has to be a huge knock against him if his name comes up in head coaching discussions. And as somebody has already alluded to, he was brought in here to an already very talented bunch. To his credit he has made this unit better but I still don't think it out trumps his failures as Detroits head coach. In time maybe another HC is in his future but not right now. I could see Henderson or Johnson being pillaged before Schwartz leaving.
  15. Yep, and for the people that want him gone. I can't even comprehend where that comes from other than they are basically clueless armchair hot wind bags.
  16. interested to see the K Mack the kid from UB, play.
  17. Ummm.... how did the 2 top offences fair the past 2 weeks against this defense? I'm thinking Marrone knows what he is doing.
  18. I can agree with that, but he is not on the bench because of those attributes, he is on the bench because he has nothing between the ears. Put Ortons head on EJs body and we would have a damn good QB.
  19. Really? Marrone isn't going anywhere, he's the best coach the Bills have had in 15 years. Deal with it! Hey do you think the Browns should fire Pettine also? If no, why not? He hasn't done more than Marrone has done last year or this year.
  20. Really dude? Who was your choice to finish the game? Best coach we have had in 15 years. Get a life!
  21. I agree, but it is a step in the right direction, and I do believe they will improve again next year.
  22. .....but but but don't you know, the Bills are supposed to put up 500 yards of offense, score 50 points a game, and win every game by 25+ points or they suck and everybody needs to be fired from the GM down to the QB. How dare their offense struggle against said defenses and only be 7-6 with shown improvement from years past. They obviously didn't get the message that fans demand they be 13-0 at this point or all is a failure.
