  13. Good read. https://www.axios.com/trump-administration-white-house-leaks-a5a82efa-d6c8-4209-b616-80f1422eb36c.html President Trump is not just seething about Bob Woodward. He’s deeply suspicious of much of the government he oversees — from the hordes of folks inside agencies, right up to some of the senior-most political appointees and even some handpicked aides inside his own White House, officials tell Axios. The big picture: He should be paranoid. In the hours after the New York Times published the anonymous Op-Edfrom "a senior official in the Trump administration" trashing the president ("I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration"), two senior administration officials reached out to Axios to say the author stole the words right out of their mouths. Show less "I find the reaction to the NYT op-ed fascinating — that people seem so shocked that there is a resistance from the inside," one senior official said. "A lot of us [were] wishing we’d been the writer, I suspect ... I hope he [Trump] knows — maybe he does? — that there are dozens and dozens of us." Why it matters: Several senior White House officials have described their roles to us as saving America and the world from this president. A good number of current White House officials have privately admitted to us they consider Trump unstable, and at times dangerously slow. But the really deep concern and contempt, from our experience, has been at the agencies — and particularly in the foreign policy arena. For some time last year, Trump even carried with him a handwritten list of people suspected to be leakers undermining his agenda. "He would basically be like, 'We’ve gotta get rid of them. The snakes are everywhere but we’re getting rid of them,'" said a source close to Trump. Trump would often ask staff whom they thought could be trusted. He often asks the people who work for him what they think about their colleagues, which can be not only be uncomfortable but confusing to Trump: Rival staffers shoot at each other and Trump is left not knowing who to believe. Officials describe an increasingly conspiracy-minded president: "When he was super frustrated about the leaks, he would rail about the 'snakes' in the White House," said a source who has discussed administration leakers with the president. "Especially early on, when we would be in Roosevelt Room meetings, he would sit down at the table, and get to talking, then turn around to see who was sitting along the walls behind him." "One day, after one of those meetings, he said, 'Everything that just happened is going to leak. I don’t know any of those people in the room.' ... He was very paranoid about this." The Times Op-Ed reinforces everything Trump instinctively believes: That a "Deep State" exists. It's trying to undermine him and — in the case of Jeff Sessions’ Justice Department, in Trump’s mind — is trying to overthrow his presidency. The Bob Woodward book, Trump believes, exposes that leakers are everywhere — and gunning for him. Be smart: "People talk about the loyalists leaving," the source close to Trump tells us. "What it really means is [that there'll be] fewer and fewer people who Trump knows who they really are. So imagine how paranoid you must be if that is your view of the world."
  14. I take issue with that, they led the league in turnovers last year. I would say their D is just as good if not better than ours. With all the turmoil in Pittsburgh, they could very well win the division.
  15. Very good read thank you At this point, msm has lost all credibility and anonymous sources are so overused that they also carry zero credibility with most people. MSM=Boy who cried wolf You are most likely quite right, assuming there is a source.
  16. Yeah I disliked them too. We were so short on gun bunnies that they took our Abrams away from us about 3 mos into our tour (not to mention it cost appx $475,000 a MONTH to operate a single platoon). At one point we had to hit some hamlets way off the beaten path, so much so that M113 and our gun trucks couldn't safely and efficiently navigate back there. So they took our platoon aside and for 3 days gave us safety training on Blackhawks. For the next 3 weeks we were raiding hamlets and villages, most of them in the dead of night. I signed up for the Army and, most importantly Armor to stay the f*ck on the ground and here I was, flying around Iraq in a Blackhawk. In hindsight it was pretty cool, I dont know of any other 19Ks that got to do that stuff. Not for me though. I got mid tour leave too 3 days in the green zone. They didn't fly us, we hitched a ride in a supply convoy and provided escort for them on the way up. Then the soldiers we swapped out took our place. It was cool played some Xbox and got to soak in some A/C. First time I didn't have to wear Kevlar since I was in country, first time in months we could go a day without indirect and get a full night's sleep without getting called out on QRF. The hajii porn skeeved me out, but more so I am not into watching porn with dudes. F*ck that. My portable DVD player $h!t the bed about 3 mos into my tour anyway, so couldn't partake even if I wanted to. I was more into the dirty MILF that adopted me from "Soldiers Angels". That girl was insane!
  17. That is EXACTLY where it was. There was also a polish barracks near there, to help support Hillah SWAT. We would do raids with them, providing overwatch. I remember going down in choppers and flying over the polish barracks, they had a huge detachment of females, they would lay out on the roof of their compound in bikinis. They were babes, i still remember their fine fannies from all the way up in the chopper (legit hotness, not desert goggles talking but truth)??
  18. They told us it was the ruins of the tower of babel, but maybe perhaps not. We were in the ruins of the old city of Babylon, very cool. It was the old marketplace. I will take a picture of my ETS plaque, the photo of the ruins, and post it as soon as i figure out how to compress the image to post. I apologize in advance for my technical ignorance.
