  1. Cincinnati has playoff aspirations and a bunch of injuries in their secondary. Would love to get one of their TEs for Byrd but there is very small chance of that happening.
  2. Signing him long term is the best choice but I don't see it happening. Would be happy to be wrong on that though.
  3. The Bills are not getting squat for Byrd at this point, he has yet to play a game this season and the new team cannot extend him until after the season. The only move to make is to franchise him again after the season, let Parker shop him around and then trade him for (hopefully) a 2nd.
  4. What is there to be skeptical about? No contract can be formally signed or negotiated until after the season. They could come to an informal agreement but either side could back out and if the NFL finds out there would be sanctions on the team and possibly Parker for violating the CBA.
  5. No team can sign Byrd to an extension until after this season.
  6. Knowing that one of those 10 losers will be our QB next game makes me not want to watch the game. Freeman is the only one that I will watch maybe Tuel for the laughs. I hope the D is ready to pitch a shutout.
  7. The other threads discussing this weren't enough?
  8. Guys Curitiba is an instigator, he does this routine in the shoutbox as well. Just a warning so you don't get sucked in like I have in the past.
  9. People who veto stupid trades are the reason I took away voting and I decide on all trades. If I'm involved my co-commish decides and if we are both involved it goes to a randomly selected league member. Collusion is the ONLY reason to veto a trade.
  10. Byrd declares himself healthy, Marrone deactivates him, yet Bills fans still pile on him. Best fans in football.
  11. Bingo, a defensive backfield with Gilmore, McLovin, Byrd, and A Williams would be great to see.
  12. Anyone who matters knows what phase 1 and if teams are exploring a possible trade they would find out anyway. He can just no comment the media, it is none of their business. Tampa should explore trades this week and then cut him if none are found. The HC there is going to get fired sooner rather than later and Freeman doesn't have to play his games.
  13. If you actually knew what phase 1 is you would know that it means next to nothing. Freeman has not had any incidents that have placed him in jeopardy of suspension, such as a positive test for a banned street-drug substance, sources said. Thus, Freeman is in relatively good standing under the program, sources added. Freeman's stage one status also would not necessarily mean he has tested positive for a banned substance even though he has been subject to random or reasonable-cause testing, as deemed necessary by the medical director who oversees the program. A player can be placed in stage one for a variety of reasons, including behavioral causes. The medical director determines the length of stage one status. There are three stages to the substance abuse program that contain a variety of corrective measures, including random testing, treatment, fines and suspensions. As for the temporary-use exemption of the prescription drug that has been approved for Freeman, sources would not provide the identity of that drug.
  14. I like the idea of tagging him again to show other players and agents that the Bills new FO isn't getting pushed around. If this becomes a thing by agents to circumvent the franchise tag then the NFL will have to take action.
  15. Good point and one I didn't take into account. I think that if you can't play after 6 weeks the team should have some way to utilize your roster spot. Hopefully he suits up Thursday and puts the issue to rest.
  16. I give Byrd until the Cincy game, if he can't play by then off to IR he goes. Hopkins can go now since Carpenter has been great so far.
  17. I'm as big a Byrd supporter as anyone but this situation is growing tiresome. If he sits the next two games there is no reason not to IR him. Are the Bills better with him? Yes, but if he isn't going to play they need to use his roster spot on someone who will contribute. The Bills should definitely tag him again and then trade him for a 2nd round pick or let him sit again. I wonder what the market is for a player who sits out two seasons.
  18. Haha I like how you make every thread a Stevie thread you worthless troll.
  19. I think lack of a poo river is more important than the view since I am not staying if there is a **** river running next to me.
  20. They got all three correct, yes they went against the Bills but they were all right.
  21. The calls were all correct IMO, it sucks they all went against the Bills but they were correct.
  22. 1) Figure out a way to get CJ the ball in space. 2) EJ hits some deeper passes and uses the middle of the field. 3) Defense gets pressure without exposing the CBs. 4) WIN!!!!
  23. I think my neighbors are going to know the lyrics by the time the game kicks off.
  24. I know what will be playing on a loop when I get up tomorrow. Nice work man.
  25. Easier to play injured when you're not on a 1 year deal.
