  1. I certainly prefer the offense being sluggish and the defense looking sharp every time. I know what the offense can do. They'll get it right.
  2. My brother is an OG Bucs fan and I just sent him a text saying exactly that, Mayfield is legit.
  3. Just don't drop the ball before you break the plane. So dumb.
  4. That is what I said last year. Daniels won it and it should have been Brock Bowers. He was the All-Pro First Team tight end. The absolute best at his position in the league as a rookie. And it went to Daniels who was what 7th or 8th best at his position? Because he is a quarterback.
  5. I would expect in the Quarterback room it would be especially helpful when breaking down the opponent's defense.
  6. I'll defer to your judgement and say an everyday turf monster got his chance then. And man, Pittsburgh defense has been relentless.
  7. Oh man that Dublin field just cost Jefferson a chance at a long touchdown right at the half. That's a shame.
  8. That was such a huge play, glad they got it right but at 14-3 that was a sign and not a fluke play.
  9. Normally I would agree but he has seen the Giant's offense every day... he knows the best chance they had at a touchdown was to score it himself.
  10. The Saints are my brother's team. I won't even be able to enjoy the banter this week.
  11. The absolute craziness is it is also 36 bad hours away from "Burn it all down."
  12. I'm not so bright sometimes but even I can understand the thought process. QB says HUT, offensive linemen fire, center waits to snap the ball juuuuust long enough so no penalty but defense is slowed that fraction of a second needed for the offense to get the leverage and that is all the tush push is, leverage. If the play remains next year, every center will know how to exploit the refereeing. It may even happen this season.
  13. I had to go check the spelling because this is the first thing I thought when you said that.
  14. That's why he is my Dynasty team fantasy QB. Well that and I was born and raised in Louisville and went to the University of Louisville. 😁
  15. Jimmy! Good to see ya.
  16. It is my one criticism of Josh last night. He made that first down and replay shows he made that first down. He DIDN'T make it impossible for the ref to screw it up and he should have. He had plenty or room to make it impossible to misplace the ball that badly. Sad we have to expect the players to look at every first down as 1st and 12 to be sure the refs don't mess it up.
  17. I also think everyone is overlooking how important that field goal at the end of the half turned out to be. Four plays, 48 yards in 31 seconds was the shot I needed heading into halftime and a vision of what was to come in the fourth quarter. But everyone is different.
  18. I also think everyone is overlooking how important that field goal at the end of the half turned out to be and if the coach gets ripped when it goes wrong, give credit when it goes right. Four plays, 48 yards in 31 seconds was the balm my heart needed and a vision of what was to come in the fourth quarter.
  19. They made a big deal about the high tech sensor for first down measurements and I said at the time it is just a smoke screen obscuring the real issue which is the refs misspotting the ball over and over again. Measuring a misplaced ball to the nearest millimeter is spurious and gives an air of accuracy to an inherently inaccurate process.
  20. Oh my bad. I'll see myself out then sir.
  21. No Bass tonight. IRed him a few days back.
  22. Oh crap, yes. Thank you. It all blurs together now.
  23. Oh Lord, the 0 for the entire '70s truly was a scourge upon our house. I have closed that chapter of my life and moved on to our brighter future.
  24. Purdy had to make a desperate play and he pulled it off. Victory never stinks.
