Lost Facts in all the Toronto Series Hyperbole
JohnnyBuffalo replied to JM57's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dislike this thread immensely. The Gosh darn BUFFALO Bills played a game in toronto!!! Yeah the loss would suck but the whole time the game was going on I wouldn't have been ticked off if it had been at HOME! I want to hit somebody! -
Question for everyone....
JohnnyBuffalo replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope! -
I may be done watching for the year. I am so angry right now that I don't want to give them anymore of my time. Utterly disgusting from ownership down to the field....and it all looks like it's headed to toronto....f em

There were only a few times...well more than a few times that I was questioning the play calling. 3rd and 2 and they throw a fade...the first real down the field shots come from their own end zone on first and third down. Running Tashard Choice on second and 10 from inside the 15 and then throwing underneath to SJ. These are a few then the lack of pressure on D when all those in coverage kept slipping and falling down. Ok I am just very upset and not sure what to think....the only thing I know would cure my current heart ache is a decisive plan from Ralph for this team to stay in Buffalo. Sell the damn team to someone that wants to keep them in Buffalo!!!! I can't help but feel that these games in toronto (lower case on purpose) will be permanent before the playoffs come back our way! Damn this sucks.

Dan Dierdorf to Retire from CBS after the Season
JohnnyBuffalo replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
THANK GOODNESS! What a wind bag. Anyone who liked this guy....I question your ability to listen effectively. Not every popular player can be the best ever and that is how he seemed to comment whether on MNF or otherwise. Can he take Gumble with him? I hope he enjoys retirement because I don't want him to rethink this decision. Congrats Dan. -
This should be Spiller and Jackson....get them on the field at the same time. Spiller is forcing too much and Fred is just a stud. How does he always fall forward? I am sick of watching the 1 yard followed by a -4 yard run. But somehow an OC needs to figure out a plan that works to the different run styles. I think CJ can turn it around.

Bills' Blackout Threats Are a Joke
JohnnyBuffalo replied to patfitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is a tragic concept really. And is actually far more reaching than what most people even realize. My sister and brother-in-law in Cortland can be blacked out....really...that isn't' even close to the 70 miles supposed radius black out. I know I know if the station who broadcasts the game is within 70 miles....blah blah blah but then why can't they get directv and have the ticket? A 73,000 seat stadium in a city of 260,000? Ok so maybe the greater market area is closer to 1,110,000 still putting Buffalo on the edge of the top 50 markets in the US. If you consider that the Ralph is what #11 in stadium size and the 14 smallest have an average of 64.5K or 12% smaller add in the 85% sellout rule and those stadiums only need to sell roughly 55k tickets vs 62k to hit 85% at the Ralph...that 7,000 extra tickets seem to be a major issue of why any game even comes close to being blacked out. This comes from a guy that lives in Saratoga and catches all the games on The Sunday ticket I just hate knowing any fan not getting to watch if they are so inclined. GO BILLS! -
This game did bring more questions than answers. What happened to the run game? I feel that the coaches were relying on the fact that they would be able to run the ball all overt he Steelers and when that didn't happen they were befuddled. Which is a major problem, but why could they not run the ball? I like the comment that it is the 3-4 d that causes the issues....let's hope they figure it out and bury the Jets. Nothing left this year but to try and spoil the Jets and Pats season if at all possible. Ugh!

Most disappointing losses in last 14 years
JohnnyBuffalo replied to Pitta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with all who said the Monday night game against NE when McKelvin fumbled the kick off. It is a classic example of one guy putting his own interests above the team. Considering the history and then Jauron defending the decision it was a moment where all feelings mixed together....anger, frustration, sadness, bewilderment, depression and the complete desecration of hope and belief. Why? -
Which one of you was this?
JohnnyBuffalo replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Who says it was a joke. Maybe a protest of the folks on the ballot and maybe the person values the qualities Kiko emulates....quiet, honest tenacity for the job he was tasked to do. Anyone offended may not understand why we have the process in the first place. Then again that is assuming an awful lot about the person who did this. Here's to a proserpous future with whatever elected official takes office! -
Why wait for goal line for this? This should be apart of every down offense! Heck even throw Choice in a 2 back set...they run enough read option as it is. Play action with Fred or Choice up the gut, down field pass or CJ in a sweep toss or pass in the flat. Hell line up in that formation and make the d burn a time out. There must be a reason this isn't happening...let me know when you find out.
