  1. Translation: I can't refute it some I'm just gonna paint you as an idiot.
  2. War Pigs by Black Sabbath is a more accurate song to be the national anthem than The Star Spangled Banner. If we have to keep it, Hendrix' version would be the most acceptable.
  3. That's not freedom of speech. That's actively violating someone else's right. They had a right to protest the war, even call them baby killers, what have you. But the second they started spitting, that was assault, brutha. You're calling someone a snowflake, when you're the one getting all bend out of shape over how someone reacts to a flag and a song.
  4. If we don't make the playoffs, I want to be playing to see what we have. Essentially playing like we do in the preseason. Barring injury, I don't want to see McCarron on the field if we're out of it, even if he turns out to be the better QB for this season.
  5. We thought the same thing with EJ and Geno. Personally, looking forward to the Bills @ Texans game. Simply becasue I'll be there, and it'll be my first Bills game in like 4 years, and my fiance's first ever.
  6. Actually, I went to an Astros game recently. Not only did they shut down concessions, but they shutdown the escalators until the anthem was over. Missed a half inning by the time I got to my seats.
  7. Agreed. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the issues being protested are important issues that we as a society need to discuss. But football has always been my escape from anything political.
  8. The argument will be that they're trying to suppress their message.
  9. Honestly, the only reason I disagree, is because the anthem is the best time to get your food before the game starts. ?
  10. They'll likely be standing in the tunnel or somewhere out of sight. They'll be back on the sidelines before the post anthem commercial break.
  11. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but prior to 2010 teams were allowed to choose whether they went on the field for the anthem.
  12. UPDATE: Still nothing. Will keep posted.
  13. I wasn't but most of my family was. My grandmother had ovarian cancer in her early 20s. She had one half of one working ovary. Was told she'd have no kids. She had seven. Also, my future mother in law was 39 and had gone through chemotherpy for lymphoma. Also was told there was no chance that she'd have a kid. Apparently there are articles about my fiance in a couple of medical journals somewhere.
  14. My fiance's excuse was that she wanted to get some ideas for our wedding. I told her the one horse in the carriage probably makes more per hour than our entire wedding budget.
  15. If I recall history class, our nation literally exists due to the fact that we don't recognize the British monarchy. A bunch of spoiled welfare leaches anyway.
  16. Where do you stand?
  17. Not the position you were gunning for. You probably would have had the option of relocating to Colorado. But yeah. Like two months after I left, they shut the whole center down.
  18. Yes, but I'm also already inebriated during all the game anyway. Whatever happened to you becoming my boss anyway?
  19. Only important games and/or when I'm inebriated.
  20. Just found my old Kelly jersey this weekend. I put it away because it didn't fit me when it was given to me as a gift. I've been losing weight, and tried it on and it fits great.
  21. I hope you got @Gugny's permission before using his picture like this.
