  1. My brother hates soccer, but says the same thing about FIFA.
  2. Once you get your $10,000 annual salary, don't forget us little guys.
  3. Fiance got me a PS4 for Christmas. Just got around to setting it up last weekend because we were using the room as storage after the hurricane. I honestly haven't bought a current video game system in like 10 years. The newest system I've owned in recent years has been a PS2. So far I have Madden 17 (5 bucks), Call of Duty WWII, which came with the system. LEGO: Star Wars, gift. Plan on buying MLB: The Show '17 this weekend. My rule with sports games back when I kept up with it was buying the year old version. Other than roster changes, and a few bells and whistles, you can basically the same game for a fraction of the price. Any other game suggestions?
  4. Players and coaches play to win every game. Front Offices tank.
  5. Oh, also when we beat the Packers a few years back. But I was highly inebriated, so I don't count that one. I believe this.
  6. Was at this game. Walking through the concourse, talking **** to all the Texans fans. Didn't even make it back to my seat before JJ Watt ran the ball back. And this city throws a tizzy everytime they see the man's face. So you can imagine the crowd after that.
  7. They weren't/aren't charging the "modern NFL" ticket prices. Just paid damn near $100 a pop for nosebleeds for the Bills @ Texans game this October. The Bills are going nowhere. This is a toy for the Pegulas. Like he said when he bought the Sabres "If I wanted to make money, I'd go back to buying oilfields/" [paraphrased]. Not that they don't want to make money from the team(s), but they're not gonna leave a city they've already invested so much in to make a little more money.
  8. The Japanese method is worse. You're put on death row for an indefinite amount of time as far as your concerned. You have no idea that today's the day till they unlock the cell.
  9. Oh yeah. Four Falls of Buffalo when they showed Jim's cancer story.
  10. Music City Travesty - First time I ever cried at a sporting event. Kevin Everett walking onto the field a few weeks after he was told he would never walk again. When Ralph passed. The "Biggest comeback since the Comeback" (as John Murphy put it) against the Patriots* in 2011. Playoffs this year.
  11. I'm actually legitimately excited about this. I don't think it'll be as gimmicky as the last time. They learned from their mistakes. They're gonna cater to the good ol' boys who are boycotting the NFL, and will probably be a bit more lenient on what's allowed as far as a hit/tackle, etc. Think the NFL 15-20 years ago. Talent level won't be the same. But as long as Vince doesn't pull a USFL, and understands that he's playing second fiddle (third if you include NCAA) to the NFL for the foreseeable future, It'll be a good holdover during the NFL offseason.
  12. This is honestly the only Bills forum on the internet that's not full of homer d-bags that just comment things like #BillsMafia or Brady* sucks. (Not that he doesn't.) Also, I campaigned for @Canadian Bills Fan to become a mod. He shut down my "Pegula can't own two teams" thread real quick. Dude doesn't play favorites. Can't say I liked that move, but I respect it. Well done.
  13. A nice as these benefits are, they take almost zero direct gameday on filed benefits into account when building these things.
  14. It would most likely be multi purpose. Attract concerts. Super Bowl. Probably an annual college bowl game. National conventions. Not saying I support it, but it would be much more than just Bills games played there.
  15. I thought I remember reading back when the ownership debacle was happening, that Jacobs was considering building a stadium since he can't own the team. Any truth to that?
  16. If he's a NYS and/or Erie County taxpayer. I'm sure he will.
  17. I don't see another outdoor stadium being built. If they do, it'll be a multipurpose domed/retractable roof stadium, designed to attract a Super Bowl, College Bowl games, etc.
  18. Its one of the few stadiums left, (Lambeau, and Arrowhead to name a few) that cater to the everyday fan. Newer stadiums are built for corporate boxes, etc.
  19. I do all my eating and drinking while tailgating. Might get a popcorn and a coke or something inside.
  20. With a new stadium, tickets are gonna go up to at least $50 per ticket. But yeah, lets do it for the families.
  21. Living in Houston, where they have a somewhat new stadium, I must say, as nice as NRG is, its kinda bland. I don't hate it. It has more bells and whistles than the Ralph. But nothing unique about it.
  22. We already played in a 2018 Wild Card Game. Lost. Not even a touchdown. We also already had the 2018 Super Bowl. We didn't make it, since we lost the 2018 Wild Card Game.
  23. Hopefully we'll be able to block off the whole street on Saturday Night again.
