  1. Rank 'em. REX RYAN, 2015-2016 DOUG MARRONE, 2013-14 CHAN GAILEY, 2010-12 DICK JAURON, 2006-09 MIKE MULARKEY, 2004-05 GREGG WILLIAMS, 2001-03 (Not including interim coaches Lynn and Fewell)
  2. That wasn't a joke. That was a legit, racist tirade against an individual in the room.
  3. Both my parents were born and Raised in South Buffalo. Absolutely love my mom's side of the family. Great, down to earth people. Love my dad, loved his mom when she was with us. He has a brother that has been home twice in the past 15 years, once for my grandmothers funeral. My other Aunt lives out of town, but she still came to town about once or twice a year. His other sister moved to the Amherst/Williamsville area. My dad is a retired truck driver for the City of Buffalo. Worked his way up to a Supervisor position. My brother is an auto mechanic. I have an office job, but still have a "blue-collar" personality. Every time the three of us go out there, it just feels weird. Like, its hard to put a finger on anything specifically "rude" said to us, but we definitely feel almost like second class because we don't have similar interests. It usually just ends up being the three of us sitting there talking about sports or something.
  4. Just a thought I had. Any chance they change the name of the show to "Dan" or "The Connors" and write her out of the show and keep going? The rest of the characters were the only reason I'd even occasionally tune into the reboot more than her.
  5. Usually, celebrities that aren't actually involved with their own social media, the profiles are quite bland. Just announcements about upcoming albums, appearances, etc. Enough so fans can keep up with you without having to visit your website.
  6. This is honestly my exact sentiment. The accent is probably what makes me hate it the most. I think it was Louis CK who said "The New England accent isn't an accent. It's just pronouncing words incorrectly." (paraphrasing.)
  7. Honestly, the political dialogue was so unnatural and forced. The rest of the show was decent when they weren't trying to be a right-wing All in the Family.
  8. NBC was supposed to pick up a reboot of Coach. With Hayden's son as a head coach, and Hayden and Dauber as assistants. Maybe ABC can Roseanne and pick that up if they need a 90s reboot.
  9. At this point, we still have McCaron, who's relatively unknown. Allen, who's a rookie, so he may pan out. (don't get me wrong, I hope he does.) And Nathan "Pick Six" Peterson. My friend that works at Tempo got a call asking for a reservation in the smoking section for a Jason Butler, but I can't say if that's true for sure. All I know is Jay would be the stopgap that we need, but Pegula is Cheap and won't do it. Get ready for another 18 year drought.
  10. I'm far from a fan of Barack Obama from a political standpoint. That being said, this wasn't making "fun" of him, or questioning his motives. This was straight up racist.
  11. Or when the weather is bad, and the story isn't even weather related, no does it have to be reported upon live from the scene. "Jim, I'm standing in front of Buffalo City Hall, where just 5 hours ago...." Five hours ago? Everybody is gone. Go home. No reason you have to be out of the comfort of your studio.
  12. You mean when he beat the Patriots*, on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL? We play MNF this year, and who do we play? Oh yeah. The Patriots*! Same team he beat last year, on the same stage. But nah, he's worthless.
  13. I've moved so many times, I've lost most of that stuff. But my aunt made me and all of my cousins blankies. I didn't attatch myself to it, but my younger brother did. My cousin took his to Iraq with him.
  14. Yesterday was Memorial Day, to remember those who have passed. Although NDBUFFCUSEBLIZZARDBISONSNUMBERONEALLTIMEFAN probably offed himself that day, so go for it.
  15. I remember that day. It was legendary.
  16. Awesome. I've been avoiding it completely. I guess I should go through some of the tutorial drills.
  17. You never actually lived in an MLB area. Acceptable. I rooted for Cleveland, and slowly switched when I moved to Houston. Ironically, I didn't jump on the bandwagon, but did it while they were at their lowest. Losing 100 games a year made tickets dirt cheap. I love baseball so I went to at least one game a homestand. They were so cheap I'd pay $5 to park, $5 for a ticket, and they let you bring in whatever food and non alcoholic beverages you wanted. The whole night would cost me a total of $20 including gas. I should also point out that anything that stops someone from being a Yankees fan, no matter what, is a good thing.
  18. Question about that. So I pass to a guy. It tells me to press square for RAC, and when I do that, he just dives forward. What am I doing wrong?
  19. Wasn't aware that you had disdain for this city. Thank you for your service.
  20. @LeGOATski, did you not see the post right before yours?
  21. I've heard Oakland is bad too. I've also heard you're fine if you try to stay out of the "cheap seats."
  22. In my experience, rooting for the away team, as long as you're not a complete @$$hole about it, you'll be safe.
  23. I'll admit to rooting against the Sabres in the McEichel race. But never any other time. And I never put money on my own team. Unless it's a low wager friendly one with a friend that roots for the opposing team.
