  1. I was high on the whole Syracuse connection between Marrone and Ryan Nassib.
  2. Donald Trump was my number 2 choice to buy the team behind Pegula. Also, can I confess for my family. My mom isn't a huge Bills fan. Back in very 2000 she went to the bar to watch the game with some friends, just as more of a social event for her. They scored the winning field goal. The whole bar is going nuckin futs. She turns to her friend and says "Wouldn't it be funny if..." Yeah. That happened.
  3. Since most of the music I like, the artists are dead, retired, no longer any good, I go see a lot of tribute bands. Starting Saturday, and going till that next Saturday I'm going to Saturday - Johnny Cash Tribute Sunday- Willie Nelson/Sturgil Simpson, and a whole bunch of other relatively unknown country artists. Tuesday - Chubby Checker is putting on a free show Saturday- Eagles tribute with Journey opener at House of Blues.
  4. Yeah it's great. They even have an "Ed Sullivan" impersonator that comes and entertains the crowd during costume changes so its a nonstop show.
  5. They put on a fun show. Nothing computerized. Nothing but four guys, granted with two synths when they get into the later stuff, for obvious reasons. One of the best tribute bands I've ever seen.
  6. Why not a Buffalo sports one. Sabres, Bills. Maybe Braves. Hell, maybe even some well known alum from our minor league teams. Jeff Manto, Rudy Pikizinzki. Buffalo locals that went on to play pro somehwere else (Besides Jaworski).
  7. I skipped a Jerry Lee show and stil regret it. Saw Chuck Berry a few years back. Got his autograph. He wasn't what he used to be, but he was 83 years old, and a living legend, so I'm glad I went.
  8. Also just found out Chubby Checker is doing a free concert on the 3rd. Didn't even know he was alive, let alone still performing. Willie on Sunday, and Chubby Checker on Tuesday. Two living legends of their respective genre.
  9. I looked up user reviews of Willie Nelson on Ticketmaster to see what people think of how he sounds in his old age. One user wrote "It seemed like Willie was high on pot the whole time. 2 stars." Honestly, if he doesn't seem high when I go see him on Sunday, I'll probably ask for a refund.
  10. I don't get why the Aerosmith version gets more airplay than the original. It isn't bad per se. But there's nothing new about it. They didn't do anything that the Beatles already did on the original. It's not like Proud Mary by Tina Turner, or All Along the Watchtower from Hendrix, which are covers, but completely different. They didn't bring anything new to the table with it.
  11. Friend of mine claims that back in their hey-day, he was at a bar on route 20 when the Stones were playing Rich Stadium. Show was sold out, so he didn't make it. Bout an hour and a half after the show was over, a guy walked in, and told the bartender to lock the doors, nobody comes in, anybody that's here can stay, but can't get back in if they leave. Then the Stones come in and just jam for like two hours. Also allegedly had a hefty tab that they stiffed too.
  12. He's on my bucket list. Along with Willie Nelson, who I'm gonna see on the first of next month. The Stones. And Elton John, who's resale tickets start in the $300 range, so hoping for some sort of miracle.
  13. Nice. And to think if that had happened today, you'd be free do to now.
  14. Lol. I didn't leave it in the car. I just didn't notice the water in there when I set it there this morning.
  15. Does that include the price of the stuff that was confiscated? Lol.
  16. Today I learned theres a small leak in the rubber of my car door. Very small. However, sitting in a downpour all night, filled up the little storage bin right by my driver side door. The same one I leave my cell phone in. So, no more phone.
  17. Put yourself in his shoes. You just got news that one of your best friends from childhood, and that you worked with for ten years, was shot and killed. Then reporters shove microphones in your face, wanting a soundbite.
  18. For every cigarette people smoke, God takes a minute off your life, and gives it to Keith Richards.
  19. The audiobook is read by Johnny Depp, who modeled Jack Sparrow after Keith. But unfortunately doesn't do it in that accent.
  20. I took "Official Website" to include official app, Facebook, etc. Any news source officially run and sanctioned by the Bills. As opposed to TBD, BR, etc. The last time I visited that site on a computer was probably a few years ago.
  21. Can't remember. I want to say the green and red game against the Jets, but don't quote me on that.
  22. Did you say Sorry. (Prounounced sore-y.)
  23. He conveniently left that part out of the book. Weird. Must have decided to cut that name out to save paper and make the book shorter.
  24. Accoring to Keith's autobiography, and I'm paraphrasing. He hired a "Keef lookalike" and some cheap labor Rolling Stone fill ins. Basically thinking he can do a Stones show, without the Stones, and pocket more cash by paying his band union minimum.
