  1. Christian's is open until 2am, which is when the bars legally need to shut down. Late night restaurants are House of Pies, Katz'. Whataburger for a fast food burger. I live in the burbs so @Jauronimo could probably answer that better.
  2. They get loud...... when their own QB gets hurt. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/10/texans-fans-schaub-injury
  3. Oh yeah! It was like lightning Everybody was fighting And the music was soothing And they all started grooving Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah And the man in the back said everyone attack And it turned into a ballroom blitz And the girl in the corner said boy I want to warn you It'll turn into a ballroom blitz Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz
  4. GAME - SATURDAY 3:35PM (CST) Friday - party will be at Christian's Tailgate Bar and Grill Midtown (2000 Bagby St Houston, TX 77002) There is no entry fee for this, we are still working on the times for it. • Yes there are several locations of Christian's Tailgate, please go to the MIDTOWN location on Bagby St. Saturday - tailgate will be off of 7667-7691 Fannin St. Houston, TX 77054 SEE MAPS BELOW! Buffalo-Style tailgate - why change what we know works! Pay to park and set up your tailgate. We will open LONG before the NRG lots open (still getting details if we can open before 8am). BYOB! (Anybody who was there last year will understand why we don't want to tailgate in the official Texans lot.) I work pretty closely with the local backers President so feel free to PM me with any questions.
  5. Whenever you call me, I'll be there Whenever you want me, I'll be there Whenever you need me, I'll be there I'll be around, yeah
  6. I have an Ed Oliver color rush jersey. Bought it because I'm a UH fan, and wanted it in UH colors so I could wear it to both games. I wanted to buy authentic, because I'd had some bad luck in the past. But they only sold authentic color rush in Allen and McCoy. So I had no choice but to go the knockoff route. I'll say this. There are a few things off about them. Some stitching might be off, or something like that. You really only notice if you're looking for them. But considering buying the same jersey would have literally cost me 5x as much, the differences aren't worth it. I bought myself an Oliver, and my wife a blue Kyle Williams, for about $65 total including shipping.
  7. I used to work nights. 4 ten hour shifts with Fri-Sun off. One particular Thursday night I got out of work around 11. Stopped and got some Whataburger. Went through a stop sign. Cop asked me why. I was just straight honest with him. "Honestly. I just got out of work. Had a long week. My weekend starts now. And I have some Whataburger I want to take home and eat." The cop just replied "Ah. I love Whataburger. Understandable. Slow down next time, and enjoy." Another time I got out of it because I had a Sabres sticker on the back of my truck and the cops wife was from Buffalo.
  8. All day long they work so hard Till the sun is goin' down Working on the highways and byways And wearing, wearing a frown You hear them moanin' their lives away Then you hear somebody sa-ay That's the sound of the men working on the chain ga-a-ang That's the sound of the men working on the chain gang All day long they're singin' (Hooh aah) (hooh aah) (Hooh aah) (hooh aah)
  9. There ain't no good in an evil hearted woman, And I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James, And you don't go writing hot checks, down in Mississippi, And there ain't no good chain gang.
  10. Have mercy on the criminal Who is running from the law Are you blind to the winds of change Don't you hear him any more Praying Lord you got to help me I am never gonna sin again Just take these chains from around my legs Sweet Jesus I'll be your friend
  11. Beat me to it. I've started the Festivus thread every year for like six years.
  12. Let's say we run the table and win out. New England* is the most beatable they've been in years, and the Jets should be a win. That said, even if we do win out, how much confidence do you have the Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins can help us out and play spoiler to us?
  13. Apollo Creed never died. He was knocked out pretty hard in his last fight, but survived. That said, Ivan Drago was extremely offended by his "I want you" taunts before the fight. Apollo was rushed to the hospital where he made a miraculous recovery. But Russian Mobsters snuck into his hospital room, and cut off his hand to teach him a lesson. He ratted them out, and went in the witnesses protection program as a golf instructor.
  14. A Little Louder For the People in the Back!
  15. Because, while breaking the drought was exciting, that team overachieved, and we backed in thanks to a miracle pass in a game that didn't involve us. Again, that was a happy day. But that team was lucky to get in. On the other hand, we're locked into the playoffs now. We have two weeks to go, have a long, but not completely out of the realm, shot at the division. Worst we can do is 10-6. And this team is just better. We've made it. We've found out coach. We have a QB that gets better every week. Super Bowl caliber defense. I can't remember the last time the Bills were down, or even tied in the 4th quarter, and I didn't lose my cool. I can't remember the last time I didn't wince every time a Bills QB made an attempt over 10 yards. We're finally here. Buckle up. It's gonna be a good long ride.
  16. No idea who these guys are. But all three of them have misshaped heads.
