  1. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what John Q Fan thinks. It's no longer about tailgating, or the average fan experience anymore around the rest of the league. It's about the corporate luxury box owners, and the "Bills Mafia" types are being priced out. Paid $80 a piece for a pair of nosebleeds in Houston this Sunday. I don't mind paying it because I only get to see the Bills once every few years. But I wouldn't be able to afford more than one, maybe two games a year. Especially down the line when/if I have kids.
  2. Not unexpected by me. #DefendingChamps
  3. I hope you're right. But realistically, if they spend this cap money right, next year will be our year. But I also see no reason to "tank" either, since next year will be built through FA more than the draft.
  4. By the way, I'm sure you guessed it, but I take back everything I've ever PMed you about Herman. he's dead to me.
  5. I think we have the wrong Josh running this account. Josh Gordon, if you're reading this, we're here for you.
  6. This. Is making the playoffs the be all, end all goal this season? No. Developing Allen into a franchise QB is. To me, that means playing Allen, letting him learn from mistakes, and improve. If Allen learns quick enough to lead this team to the playoffs, awesome bonus. But they won't be hanging their heads in shame if the season ends with us not making the playoffs, but having what seems to be a franchise QB that we can build around.
  7. The entire series was just a dream that Kimmy Gibbler had, as a lead in for Fuller House, with new episodes coming to you on Netflix early next year!
  8. Because he knows the playbook. Give it two weeks for Anderson to learn it and Peterman is on the practice squad or worse.
  9. Assuming things stay on this course, and nothing drastic, good or bad, happens.
  10. Mike "I'd rather watch tennis than football" Schopp has spoken.
  11. You think he's kidding. The men's room has been out of order for about half the games this year. Also, they ran out of beer before the playoff game started. But their burgers were ranked in the top 10 in the nation by culinary experts Playboy magazine (no joke).
  12. Same as last time.
  13. I've lived in Houston for 8 years, and I have an aunt that's lived here for about 30. We've learned that wings can be decent down here, if you order them extra crispy. They're still not as good as home, other than a few gems I've found around town, but they're not terrible either.
  14. Agreed. How about we cut everybody, move the team to Toronto, and just start fresh with a new Bills franchise in a few years.
  15. I was having a great day. Was standing in the aisle waiting for a stop in play to get back to my seat after getting a halftime drink. I literally can still hear the fair weather Texans fans screaming.
  16. This is correct. The bar will be closing off the street and having a full block party, with neighboring bars also participating. Sunday, there is a fully catered Bills tailgate party in the Yellow Lot. All the lots are gated at NRG, so you MUST have a game ticket to get into the parking lot. If anybody has any questions, I'm in close touch with the coordinator, so send me a PM.
  17. Live in Houston. Those that I know are coming are you, @Jauronimo and @CowgirlsFan.
  18. Yikes. Never heard of this guy, but looked him up. Wish I hadn't.
  19. That might actually interest me.
  20. One game, your starter goes down, you can have 2018 Nathan Peterman, or 2013 Jeff Tuel.
  21. Exactly. What excactly comes with it? I hate deluxe releases that are essentially some random clips of barely audible studio talk, a few alternate tracks that are either indistinguishable from the original, or such low quality recorded demo, both of which I could usually get in YouTube.
  22. While you're probably 100% right, talent level would have little to do with either of them succeeding. It'll come down to marketing. In the same way that minor league baseball doesn't draw based on W/L, but what other gimmicks can draw a crowd. If the leauges signed a few big name college players, who couldn't make it in the NFL, (Tebow, Manziel, Trent Richardson, etc.) they'll draw. Hell, put a team in Alabama that recruits primarily Alabama/Auburn players, they'll have a respectable fan base who want to watch something waiting for the real season to start.
