If the game was today, Tyrod. I think we can all agree that Peterman is out of the question. And while I think the decision to drop Tyrod in favor of Allen was, and still is, a good idea, Allen isn't ready yet. He's got a high ceiling, much higher than Tyrod's, but at this point, Tyrod is the best of the three.

I admit that it's stupid, but trying to make a point. If you had these three options, as they are today, fully healthy of course, who gives the Bills the best chance to win a game, right now?

I'm not arguing that he's Elite, or even that great. But he's serviceable. Certainly compared to Peterman. And, at this point in time, Josh Allen.

Mayfield I get. But you can't tell me, granted hindsight being 20/20, that if given the only two options of Peterman or Tyrod, that you would ever pick Peterman.

Tyrod is good. Not great, good. If we had kept him around, we'd probably be another 9/10 win team sneaking into a playoff spot. That said, that's all he'd ever do for us. Allen, is not, at this point in time, as good as Tyrod Taylor is/was. Nobody can deny that. He was drafted for the potential that he may or may not hopefully have. Only time may tell if Allen is the guy or not, and we can debate that all day long. But the move was for a long term gain, even if it means short term loss.
