  1. Agreed. There were a few historical inaccuracies with songs being played out of order. As well as some other timeline issues, but tells the story and builds the character very well.
  2. This post brings back memories.
  3. @BringBackFergy Would bring back Chris Hogan, to play CB opposite White. Also, Orton would be up on the Wall of Fame.
  4. You gotta take Terry too. It's a package deal.
  5. I've seen the suggestion to get rid of the Pegulas at least 4 times since the season started. I'm sure more, but I'm just taking threads that I've noticed that were started for this.
  6. @Boyst62 would put all of his effort into beating Houston, every time we play them. Even if it's a preseason game. Even if it's just an intersquad practice. @Gugny would rehire both Flutie and Tyrod, just so he could have the personal pleasure of firing them, cap space be damned. @DC Tom would sacrifice a live penguin before every game.
  7. What would the Buffalo Bills franchise look like if they made their decisions based solely on the popular opinions of posters on this board?
  8. Rex is also perfect for media. Even when he was on the Jets, there was something I really liked about Rex. He's got charisma. He's got much more football knowledge than most give him credit for. He's well spoken. He just doesn't have the discipline to be in charge of a whole football team.
  9. This. We could have kept Tyrod for another two years and backed into a wild card loss or two. But we weren't getting any further than that.
  10. I read a book about the Negr o Leagues. LIke 75% of the teams were some form of the name Giants.
  11. Bohemian Rhapsody was really good. There were a few times where I believe the music was chronologically incorrect, but I could be wrong, and they used them in places where the song fit the plot. But as a Queen fan, I definitely enjoyed it. Wanna go see the Elton John one this summer.
  12. Rex was a "defensive guru" who took over a team with a literally Super Bowl caliber defense that regressed significantly when he took over. Rex took over a good team, that should have become great under him. Our offense needs a total overhaul. Whether or not McBeane is doing it the right way can certainly be questioned. But it's apparent that it had to be done, so it's only fair to see what they can do with this big chunk of money we're gonna have this offseason.
  13. Because they were all passed out by kickoff.
  14. I went on a 4 night trip to Cedar Point. We'd been in there two nights already, when we go to our hotel room around lunch time, there were people in our room, making themselves comfortable. We should have known when there was a thong just sitting out in the room the first day we got there.
  15. Josh Rosen. Not sure if you're aware, but there are a few posters here who think we should have drafted him instead. They don't post about drafting the wrong Josh very often, so you may have missed it.
  16. I think it's the GMs job to admit to mistakes like that, at least in the public light. A coach needs to always have his player's back. Whether that player is Shady McCoy, or Nathan Peterman. I think that's at least part of why McD gives such vague answers. Was starting Peterman over Allen a mistake? Yeah. But he's not gonna say anything that could possibly be construed as putting Peterman down.
  17. Sorry to hear about your dad @Chef Jim My dad is an avid sports fan. As much as he loves the Bills, baseball is his sport. Back when I was about 11/12, so my brother was 7/8 we were supposed to go to Cooperstown. My dad worked his ass off in the City of Buffalo sanitation department, and didn't make much. Enough to survive and be comfortable, but not too many luxuries. He saved for about a year for this vacation. About a month before we were supposed to go, his car broke down, and he had to buy a new one. The only way to do this, was to use the money he saved. He was devastated. However, my dad not being one to disappoint, realized that our beloved Buffalo Bisons were playing two weeknight games in Rochester. So, my dad made reservations at a Holiday Inn or some sort of 2-3 star hotel with a pool. Swam, went to the zoo, went to two baseball games. Bisons lost both games in 11 and 13 innings. Ate at some hole in the wall diners. Had a great time despite having a very limited budget. We still made it to Cooperstown about 4 years later.
  18. Fitz would be a perfect fitz (pun intended) on this team. He's good enough to win games. Seems like he'd make a great mentor. He's smart. Little known fact, he went to Harvard.
  19. What is it about Barkley that makes you think he stays next year? (This questions sounds sarcastic, but legitimately asking where you derive that from.)
  20. He actually found it in an old drawer that Dick Jauron left behind.
  21. I used to go see a doctor. The doctor herself is fantastic. I just couldn't deal with the incompetency of the people at the front desk. I'm diabetic, so I see a regular GP, and an endocrinologist in the same office. I made an appointment with the GP, and asked how soon I had to come in to have blood work (which is also done in the same office). Girl behind the counter says "You don't need blood work for her, Only the endocrinologist would need that?" So I made my appointment, and the first thing the doctor says to me is "Hey Joe. I'm glad you're here, but I really can't do too much for you today without blood work." I planned on having more than two instances. I also write bulleted lists for work a lot, so that's kind of habit. My dad grew up in that area, depending on age, they probably know one another. Lol.
  22. There's an app my brother uses called Game time which is essentially a digital version of that.
  23. Southwest Alabama State Tech UCLA: University of Connecticut Language Academy South Harmond Institute of Technology LSU Larry's School for Ukulele
  24. I don't wake up until noon. That was breakfast.
