Oklahoma Bills Fans

I thought about adding a disclaimer that I'm not a rapist, but that's something a rapist would do. -
Gonna be in Enid, Oklahoma for the Bills @ Patriots* game. Looks like the closest official Bills Backers Bar is an hour and a half away. Anybody near here wanna meet up for the game?

How did everybody here feel about "Let it Be: Naked?" I was just getting into the Beatles at about 11 when this one came out, so I liked it better than the original. I also never had any sort of personal connection to it. Re-listening to it right now.

This was out of left field, but I love it. Spice Girls now, or circa 1998?

Christmas Movie All-Time Recommendations
The Real Buffalo Joe replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Question. Movies like Elf, The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th Street. Plenty more I can't think of. Where within the realm of the story, the adults, and sometimes kids, don't believe in Santa Claus, but by the end, discover the truth that Santa does exist, they just didn't have Christmas spirit or whatever. Up until that point, did Santa just skip that kid because his parents didn't believe so bought him stuff anyway? How did that work? -

Can't use members of thet same band twice.

Nice List. I debated between Malcom and Keith for a while. Only reason I didn't pick Moon, was because I already had Entwistle on bass.

Put together your dream band, alive or dead, based on these categories. Trick is, you can't use someone from the same band more than once. Yeah. You can't just make such a bold statement without providing some sort of context. -

Granted I only heard one or two songs, but I got more of a Rush vibe than Zeppelin. To your point about making money as a Zeppelin tribute, the band Train, who I'm not a huge fan of other than a few songs, got their start as a Zeppelin tribute. They recorded a note for note cover of Zeppelin II and was really good. -

Has anybody seen Queen + Adam Lambert? Trying to figure out if they're worth seeing. Brian May is obviously incredible. Adam Lambert definitely seems to have the vocal chops from the videos I've seen. He doesn't try to replicate Freddie, but still does the songs justice. From what I've seen his stage prescence isn't much, but that might just be the few videos I've seen, or the fact that I'm comparing him to the greatest front man in history. -
December 7, 2014. When Marrone played way too conservatively in the last two minutes of the game. This was the game where Kyle Orton slid about a yard short of 1st down on 3rd. This may seem like a regular Bills loss to most of you. But this is when I realized, that despite plenty of issues, Kyle Orton was the greatest Bills QB by far of my adult life. Why do I somehow remember this game as a blowout?

Your profile picture is odd. I'm surprised that Josh Allen would willingly hold up a jersey with that name on the back. -
The Dirty Mac may be the greatest supergroup to ever exist, if only for one semi improvised show.

Have you ever coached a sport?
The Real Buffalo Joe replied to Mr Wild's topic in Off the Wall Archives
My dad coached my brother and I in baseball through our whole childhood, mostly my brother. So while I've never been the coach, I've helped my dad, and saw all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on. I want to get involved in coaching kids, even though I don't have any kids of my own. -

The Astros fire off firecrackers to start the game, and after every homerun. If the roof is closed, takes about half an inning to clear up. Saw Elton last night. Paid more than I should admit for nosebleeds. Worth every penny. He can't hit the higher notes like he used to, but I've never been impressed by his singing ability to begin with. His songwriting is what got me hooked. But the dude can play the keys like it's nobody's business. Played for just short of three hours.
