I hate the NFL family so much. Plus, if you look closely on the commercial, they're buying an Emmitt Smith Vikings jersey. But it's just good natured ribbing. It comes with the territory of being a Bills fan. Just like being a Jets fan means hearing about the butt fumble, Eagles fan means hearing about throwing snowballs at Santa, and a Patriots* fan means cheating. I have friends who are fans of all of those teams and we talk smack to each other all the time. That's what being a sports fan is all about.

So we should just erase one of the greatest players in team history from existence as if it never happened? Are we gonna pull a Joe Paterno and take away his yards and records too?

I am too. But guess what, we have the longest playoff drought in history. Not to mention, PFM makes fun of every single team. The best way to not be the butt of every loser joke in the league, is to not give them a reason to make them.

I used to have his playing card that I left up on the wall of my desk till my boss told me I had to take it down because it creeped people out. NFL network did a segment a few years ago on the top ten best rushing seasons of all time, and Juice wasn't even there. Really? I'm the first one to say that the Super Bowl weren't legit, but you can't deny the dude is good. Or at the very least, better than the players I mentioned drafting before him.

We drafted Tourell Troup over Rob Gronkowski. Marcell Dareus over JJ Watt. Erik Flowers, Travares Tillman, Corey Moore, Avion Black, Sammy Morris, and Leif Larson over Tom Brady. Marcell worked out, but he's no JJ Watt. We'd all be frothing at the mouth if we were miraculously offered a straight up trade. Point is, after the first five picks, and sometimes even then, see RG3, is kind of a crap shoot. We can't be looking at past mistakes. Would anybody have guessed that a scrawny QB out of Michigan would be arguably the greatest quarterback of all time (and the the reason for most of our drinking problems)?

Haven't been in town in a few years, but the downtown area is great from what I hear. Sabres play Saturday night, and you could prolly grab some tickets for cheap with how bad they're playing.
