Yep. Like it or not, Buffalo has one sports radio station. They have to split that between the two major teams, focusing mostly on them ovbiously, but still need to throw in some baseball, college sports, basketball, plus non team sports like golf, car racing, tennis etc.

House of Blues is a chain. I've only been to the Houston location, but I've never seen a bad show there. And generally cheap, because the GA is on the floor SRO near the stage, which is where I like to be anyway. The expensive seats are in the balcony. I always get there early and get right up close. Seen Ted Nugent, Buddy Guy (Twice), Doobie Brothers, Thorogood, and a bunch of surprisingly good tribute bands.

Guy I know's friends son wrote Ted Nugent about a conservastion project he was. Ted replied promptly, and called the kid a few weeks later to check on how the project went.
