  1. Politicians hide themselves away They only started the war Why should they go out to fight? They leave that role for the poor, yeah
  2. I mostly buy knockoffs. My Oliver jersey is knockoff, but I was only able to find color rush official in Oliver and McCoy. They're definitely not as high quality as the official, but being like 1/5 of the price, they're worth it.
  3. I tend to stay away from current players jerseys for that reason. I made the exception when we drafted Oliver because I'm a Houston Cougar fan and follwed him since his freshman year. So I bought a Red color rush jersey with his name. Reason being, if he ends up not being a Bill in a few years, I can still wear it to all the Cougar games.
  4. Yeah. I wore my Jackson jersey during the year he was on the Seahawks roster because he's just a guy that I have a lot of respect for. I can even understand Shady. He left on good terms, and it was strictly a football decision. But guys like Whitner, and McGahee, burn those jerseys before wearing them to a game. This is why I buy the chinese jerseys. If they last 2 years, I get my money's worth.
  5. Said when it's late at night, late at night Let me tell you When you got a headache A little headache powder will help you When you got a backache Go down To John R. & Brush and a massage parlor will take care of you. When it's late at night late at night late at night Late at night Late at night Late at night Late at night When you got a heartache there ain't nothing you can do When you got a heartache late at night Ain't a thing you can do Charlie knows There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do There ain't nothing you can do
  6. If you remember, almost every year for about three or four years, they had at least one single game tiebreaker that counted as regular season anyway. I really think of the Wild Card game as a playoff game, so much as one game to determine who really is the WC team and gets to play in the playoffs.
  7. But only love Can break your heart Try to be sure Right from the start Yes only love Can break your heart What if your world Should fall apart?
  8. That woman of mine, she ain't happy 'Til she finds something wrong and someone to blame If it ain't one thing it's another one on the way Woke up this mornin' to the sunshine It sure as hell looks just like rain I know where to go on a cloudy day Oh rainy day woman I never seem to see you for the good times or the sunshine You have been a friend of mine, rainy day woman
  9. Twenty-five years ago, they spoke out and they broke out Of recession and oppression and together they toked And they folked out with guitars around a bonfire Just singin' and clappin', man, what the hell happened there? Some were spellbound, some were hell bound Some they fell down and some got back up And fought back against the melt-down And their kids were hippie chicks or hypocrites Because fashion is smashin' the true meaning of it So don't delay, act now, supplies are running out Allow if you're still alive, six to eight years to arrive And if you follow, there may be a tomorrow But if the offer is shun, you might as well be walkin' on the sun
  10. So I guess I'll have another round!
  11. And all the judgemental a-holes. Someone who knows more about it than I do could answer. While I have no problem with players using pot, the act of actually smoking it doesn't seem very smart. Inahling any kind of smoke, tobacco, weed, anything, can't be good for lungs.
  12. Well you can stick your nine to five livin' And your collar and your tie And stick your moral standards 'Cause it's all a dirty lie You can stick your golden handshake And you can stick your silly rules And all the other sh!t That they teach to kids in school ('Cause I ain't no fool) Gonna be a rock 'n' roll singer I'm gonna be a rock 'n' roll star I'm gonna be a rock 'n' roll singer I'm gonna be a rock 'n' roll A rock 'n' roll star
  13. Listen to what the flower people say Ah Listen, it's getting louder every day Listen, it's like a bolt out of the blue Ah Listen, it could be calling now for you.
  14. Well I ain't seen my baby since I don't know whenI've been drinking bourbon, whiskey, scotch and ginGonna get high man I'm gonna get looseNeed me a triple shot of that juiceGonna get drunk don't you have no fearI want one bourbon, one scotch and one beerOne bourbon, one scotch, one beer
  15. He's showing improvement in every game, save this one. Countless times this year, the pass to Knox right at the edge of the field comes to mind, where I said to anybody who would listen "A year ago, he runs that ball and maybe gains five yards." It seems to me that ever since the intentional grounding call against Cincinnati, he's been afraid to throw it away which I hope he works on. He had a bad game against an elite D. You know who else didn't have a spectacular outing? Tom Brady, the alleged GOAT. This was a very good game between two top notch defenses.
  16. Josh Allen has the strongest arm in the NFL. He's learning how to fine tune that weapon. He tried to do things Sunday that you just can't do against elite defenses. Part of that falls on the play calling as well. It's a learning opportunity, and we'll see what adjustments are made in his next game.
  17. The way he jogged of the field into the tunnel tells me everything I need to know about how "shell shocked" he was.
  18. Welcome back, my friends To the show that never ends We're so glad you could attend Come inside! Come inside There behind a glass Stands a real blade of grass Be careful as you pass Move along! Move along Come inside, the show's about to start Guaranteed to blow your head apart Rest assured you'll get your money's worth The greatest show in Heaven, Hell, or Earth
  19. Same. It's also much more travel friendly than a guitar so I take mine with me a lot of times. My wife has one. She hates it because she's a musical expert. She was in band, choir, all of that. Took two years of music classes at college. But she can't play a stringed intstruement or read tabs, and initially had trouble with simple chord charts because she overthought it too much.
  20. It was early mornin' yesterday I was up before the dawn And I really have enjoyed my stay But Toby must be movin' on Goodbye Toby It's been nice Hope you find your Paradise Come tomorrow Feel no pain Feel no pain Toby Toby Toby Toby's goin' away See ya See ya, Toby See ya Oh Goodbye Toby Goodbye Toby Goodbye Toby Goodbye Toby
  21. I literally only bought it back in the day because it had minor league on there, and I was a huge Bisons fan. I bought 05-07 at a used video game shop recently for $2 each. After EA signed the exclusivity deal with the NFl , 2K did the same with MLB. So they released 06 and 07 as NCAA. Same deal as the rest, where they estimate how good each team is and generate fake players, names, etc. But the game play is actually really good. I'm a season ticket holder for UH baseball since moving to Houston, so I got bored and changed all the names to actual players on the team.
  22. In west Philadelphia born and raisedOn the playground was where I spent most of my daysChillin' out maxin' relaxin' all coolAnd all shootin some b-ball outside of the schoolWhen a couple of guys who were up to no goodStarted making trouble in my neighborhoodI got in one little fight and my mom got scaredShe said 'You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air'
  23. My great grandfather who I never met was born and raised in South Buffalo. Because of the Catholic thing, and the Irish thing, had season tickets most of his adult life and took the train to South Bend every Saturday.
  24. They did something similar to this a few years ago, where they had retired players in the game playing for fictional teams, but it didn't sell too well. I think it was Blitz. I'd personally love to see EA Sports come back with MVP Baseball. I own The Show, but other than the mode where you play as a single player, I mostly play MVP on my PS2. Other than the graphics (which were on par for the time), the gameplay is so much better.
