  1. @Buffalo30 Honest question. I've seen you post other things talking about sports/TV/Entertainment, etc being a waste of time. If you believe that, why are you on forum specifically for Buffalo Bills fans?
  2. This is a very small minority of people in the millenial generation who think this way. The media just likes to magnify it and act like it's a majority of millenails are like this. They're a small, granted very vocal, minority though.
  3. He's still pretty involved with the team. He did the narraration for the Bills Hard Knockoff (Just made that name up while I was typing this) on YouTube. Also helped Oliver out during training camp. Gave a pretty cool speech to the players about what this team actually means to the community. (Paraphrasing) "Teams in LA, Chicago, New York. They're luxuries. The people there are there to woo clients and such. In Buffalo, the people there are the die hard fans who love this team." Wouldn't be surprised if he's brought back in some sort of coaching role in the next year or two.
  4. I'm not saying he doesn't play with grit, and passion. Or that he doesn't enjoy playing. But watch guys like Peyton and Favre. You could tell that they were genuinley having fun out there their entire career. I just don't get that vibe when I watch Brady play.
  5. Well, we're moving on up to the east sideTo a deluxe apartment in the skyMoving on up to the east sideWe finally got a piece of the pie
  6. So I stopped listening to what my boss told me. Maybe I can use my new found free time to meditate and hopefully that will generate electricity since I can't pay the bill now.
  7. He literally has no other reason to play. He has the legacy. He has money. He has every record in the book. What's there to chase? When his time with New England is over, I honestly don't think we hear from him again until his HOF induction. I don't see him getting into broadcasting or coaching. Brett Favre came out of retirement because the dude legit loved playing football. I honestly don't think Brady has that kind of love for the game.
  8. He plays in New England, or he doesn't play.
  9. Takin' my time Choosin' my lines Try'n' to decide what to do Looks like my stop Don't want to get off Got myself hung up on you Seems to me You don't want to talk about it Seems to me You just turn your pretty head and walk away
  10. If you had not have fallen Then I would not have found you Angel flying too close to the ground And I patched up your broken wing and hung around a while Trying to keep your spirits up and your fever down I knew someday that you would fly away For love's the greatest healer to be found So leave me if you need to, I will still remember Angel flying too close to the ground
  11. This is why I've never understood the concept of SportsClips. They're charging more because they have a "Sport bar" atmosphere. But if there's a game I actually care about watching, I don't want to be getting my haircut. So if I ever go in there, it will be during the time these types of shows are on.
  12. Marketing genius Russ Brandon would have never let this slip. #JustSayin
  13. They started out as essentially a bib to protect your shirt when eating messy foods like spaghetti. But it turned into just something you have to wear to show that you're formal, or something. I never got it either.
  14. The irony is the Liner notes for ZZ TOP'S first album. "In the days of homogenized rock, synthesized music, retakes, overdubbing, multi, multi-tracking, an honest recording by accomplished musicians is a rewarding pleasure. ZZ TOP'S FIRST ALBUM is just such a recording. This is the way blues-rock is meant to be played; openly, honestly, and spontaneously. It takes an experienced sensitive group such as ZZ TOP to capture the abstract blues from within and combine it with the ability to feel and play good hard rock without losing their communication."
  15. **SPOILER ALERT** Have you read the fan theories? One of them basically said that the Joaquin Phoenix's character ins't the Joker that fights Batman. But it was one of his copycat followers.
  16. This is why I've only seen like three Marvel movies, and wasn't impressed by any of them. And the witty dialog isn't actually that witty. Usually some washed up boomer insult meme with tweety bird or a minion, or a call back to one of the previous movies so the viewers think they're in on a joke.
  17. The only reason I changed my last tire was because my friend owns a tire shop, and my vehicle, unbeknownst to me, didn't have a spare. So I took the whole wheel off, put it in my wife's car, and drove down and had him replace it, and I put it back on. The day the labor estimate on my bill is more than a round trip ticket to Houston and back. My brother is getting a free week long vacation on me, with one day of work.
  18. I still don't much care for them, but I've learn to appreciate the craft that goes into singing them. I did however a few years ago, back when Netflix was a DVD only service, order a DVD of a rock and roll 50s package concert. It had Chuck, Little Richard, Jerry Lee, and a few artists I never heard of, so I was excited to discover something new to me. Then I realized, there's a reason we know the names we know, and a reason I'd never heard of some of the other acts.
  19. Same. I can change a tire if needed. I can jumpstart when needed. I've been showed how to change the oil. But is it really worth the $10 you save doing it yourself, when it also takes twice as long?
  20. You ever see the video of Keith inducting ZZ Top into the rock and roll hall of fame? It's just incoherent rambling, and it was beautiful.
  21. This does bring up another thing that I've always wondered. Guys who love going to the hardware store. I get doing things around the house to not have to pay someone else to do it. But it's still a chore and I'd rather be doing like a million different things besides fixing things around the house. I think most guys just feel that they're supposed to love it as a man, because that's what Home Improvement tells us men are like.
  22. The visor hat serves a practical purpose at least. You don't want to wear a hat on top of your eyes, but you want something to shade the sun from your eyes.
  23. Well I've heard there was a secret chordThat David played and it pleased the LordBut you don't really care for music, do you?Well it goes like this:The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major liftThe baffled king composing Hallelujah
