  1. Skynyrd* is dead. Gary Rossington, and Ronnie's brother's tribute band is one of the lamest things I've ever seen live. The epitome of "I'm just here so I can go through the motions and collect my dead brother's check." Sad really.
  2. This is literally why they have this. As I stated before the "old guys" who watched the Who, Stones etc, would be watching anyway because they're football fans. The young women who don't know the difference between a touchdown and a foul pole, now have a reason to watch, even if it is just for Coldplay, Katy Perry, etc. We only have 30 minutes.
  3. Not everybody has nipples. You ever thought of that Beerball?
  4. I voted yes even though I'm not personally a fan. After the infamous "malfunction" they had all old rockers. The Who, Stones, McCarney, Petty, Springsteen, and I'm sure I'm missing a few. Don't get me wrong, those are some of my all time favorite artists. But they're demographic, middle-aged white men, are most likely watching the Super Bowl anyway. The last few years, Madonna, Katy Perry etc, are for the demographic who typically aren't watching the Super Bowl.
  5. Quit fretting over it. You can clean off the chesterfield when you're done.
  6. Bruh, not living in Houston you don't know the half of it. All anybody ever talks about is how he's "so humble." Or, "He doesn't even care about the money, just working hard and playing the game." He doesn't care about money yet he's on every friggin billboard, newpaper ad, TV, and radio commericals. Pretty sure he's not doing it for free. I know Peyton Manning's a ad whore, but he doesn't try to pull it off like he isn't.
  7. BUT THEY SUCKED FOR TWO YEARS!!! THATS UNFORGIVABLE. /sarcasm
  8. Wait for what? He does it off the field, of play, and doesn't have to be there for the PAT anyway, unless it's for two.
  9. Luckily we're not one of them because we have a team chaplin.
  10. Nah, I agree. When it was once a year, in a historic hockey city, it was cool. But when they're doing like 6 or seven like they've been doing, and having one in friggin' LA, it's time to cut it back.
  11. I do like 90 minutes of actual work a day. I just did 20 of them right as I was making it. Lol.
  12. This may be more of an OTW thread, feel free to move it, but which of the four major sports would you say the coach has the most impact on the outcome of the game?
  13. Apparently now that he's hurt, he's done. Finished. Washed up. Ka-put. Splitsville.
  14. Make the right "Choice" Rex. Call Tashard.
  15. Chad Johnson Ochocinco Johnson actually is an egomaniac. Any player who changes their name to something "funny," regardless of color, team, or skill level, truely is an ego maniac.
  16. Players known for celebration that never get ridiculed. Aaron Rodgers. Clay Matthews. JJ Watt. Players that do/did: Cam Newton, TO, Randy Moss. Hmm?
  17. I think Chip Kelly would be a great coach, he's just a terrible ego-tistical GM.
  18. It's definitely a generational thing. My dad (60) hates it. He's a classic "Do your f***ing job" and "You never saw [insert Bills player from the past] doing that!" I was the same way for a while, then realized that they're playing a game.
  19. Stevie Johnson, because he wasn't/isn't able to back it up.
  20. What sucks is that Jim Schwartz will be with any number of these teams by next season.
  21. He's calmed down and matured.
  22. Only thing I disagree with is Pettine. They're gonna give him a third year, even if it's just an ego thing to say they didn't fire him too soon like the last one.
