  1. Sorry Joe, I’ve been here roughly ten years. Please cease and desist before my attorney, @BringBackFergy is forced to take action. https://wyrk.com/joe-andreessen-buffalo-ny/
  2. I'd smoked my mind the night before With cigarettes and songs I'd been pickin' But I lit my first and watched a small kid Playin' with a can that he was kickin' Then I walked across the street And caught the Sunday smell of someone's fryin' chicken And Lord, it took me back to somethin' that I'd lost Somewhere, somehow along the way On a Sunday mornin' sidewalk I'm wishin', Lord, that I was stoned 'Cause there's somethin' in a Sunday That makes a body feel alone And there's nothin' short a' dyin' That's half as lonesome as the sound Of the sleepin' city sidewalk And Sunday mornin' comin' down
  3. If you ever go back into Wooly Swamp, well you better not go at night There's things out there in the middle of them woods That'd make a strong man die from fright There's things that crawl and things that fly And things that creep around on the ground And they say the ghost of Lucias Clay gets up and it walks around. But I couldn't believe it, I just had to find out for myself And I couldn't conceive it, I never would listen to nobody else No I couldn't believe it, I just had to find out for myself That there's some things in this world you just can't explain.
  4. In 2018, we drafted Josh Allen. He was a project QB, with a lot of potential, but also a lot of work. We were told that we would see little to no Josh that season, because he would be riding the bench and learning his first year. I still don't understand, five years later, why Peterman was the guy he was to learn behind. Let's even forget the now legendary 5 INT game. Let's give the benefit of the doubt that Peterman truly did majorly improve to be relatively serviceable, he was still just barely a rookie himself with almost no playing time. Why was McDermott and/or Beane so adamant about this kid? Wouldn't the best bet have been to get a Fitzpatrick-esque guy. An experienced veteran, who might not light up the leauge, but would win some games for you, and most importantly play an important mentor role in Josh's development. Seems to have worked for Tua. Because instead, Peterman sucked, as we all thought, and Josh got thrown to the wolves his rookie year. Obviously it worked out, but it very well may not have.
  5. Left a girl in West Virginia Up there where that green grass grows Yes I did Got a girl in Cincinnati Waitin' where the Ohio River flows Oh, girl I'm a ramblin' man Don't give your heart to a ramblin' man
  6. 7. I can hear the wind a blowing in my mind Just the way it used to sound Through the Georgia pines And you were there to answer when I called You and me we had it all Remember how I used to touch your hair? While reaching for the feeling That was always there You were the best thing in my life I can recall you and me we had it all
  8. Hear that lonesome whippoorwill He sounds too blue to fly The midnight train is whining low I'm so lonesome I could cry
  9. There ain't no good in an evil hearted woman, And I ain't cut out to be no Jesse James, And you don't go writing hot checks down in Mississippi, And there ain't no good chain gang.
  10. … Sure does like his Falstaff beer He likes to chase it down with that Wild Turkey liquor He drives a fifty-seven GMC pickup truck Got a gun rack, "Goat ropers needs love, too" sticker … And it's up against the wall Redneck Mothers Mother, who has raised her son so well He's thirty-four and drinking in a honky tonk Just kicking hippies asses and raising hell (I copy and pasted this to reply to @muppy'sSOTW. Then realized that wasn't the last post. Then realized this one works anyway.)
  11. Stayin’ burnt out all the time
Well that’s a good way for you to lose your mind
Stayin’ low for too damn long
Well, that’s enough to wanna get high
I’m not saying what’s right or wrong
Some folks need a little help gettin’ along
I can’t judge, Lord, I’ve been stoned
But I know Jesus knows

And I get by
 And I get by
 We all get by
By the grace of God we all get by
