  1. And he doesn't run the wrong route or take stupid offensive penalties away from the ball like Graham did.
  2. I couldn't get through the whole OP clip at work. I'm sure Larry Playfair ragdolling Terry O'Reilly must have been included. That's the first one that came to my mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K8m_ZMLmio
  3. Agreed completely. The rules allow it. Can't begrudge anyone for following the rules.
  4. Well if the rumors about the Blackhawks, the Rangers, the Devils and the Bruins are true, then maybe he's doing that a little early anyhow. The only other one I can think of, off the top of my head, was Kevin Hayes. Drafted by Chicago, never signed with them, eventually signed with NYR.
  5. Last year, he broke his ribs in preseason and the team eventually put him on season ending IR - probably at about week 6. At that time, Percy Harvin was ahead of him in the depth chart. If the Bills agree with your opinion then he'd have been cut at nearly no cost to the team. Rather than do that, they are giving him another shot and making him compete against fellow potential cast-offs. If he and the other guys in camp are so close in ability then the team can go get one if he gets hurt again. He must be actually showing them something besides measurables because by all appearances he's third on the depth chart. This is a bad plan? If he doesn't make it then fine. If he does then that's fine, too, I hope then that he does great and stays healthy.
  6. Maybe they just should have split the season. First 8 games/last 8 games. At least with Goodwin it is just the physical. Harvin had other issues, as well.
  7. Might have been last year if a roster spot wasn't wasted on Harvin. Not saying that Goodwin's the answer but I hope he kicks butt with this chance.
  8. Then let em chirp. I'm happy out here!
  9. Just finished a bottle of Laws straight Bourbon. It was nice. Presently I'm drinking a Brooklyn summer ale and smoking a nice cigar out on my deck. The crickets are chirping early this year.
  10. A lien for a judgment is only indexed against real property owned by the judgment debtor. It automatically attaches to real property in the same county as the court issuing the judgment. If a judgment creditor wants to get the lien to attach to property owned by the debtor in a different county then they need to file a transcript of judgment in that other county. If this ever happens to your property and the judgment attaches after your deed is recorded then it is easy to prove that you're not the debtor. Any time you refinance or sell, you can show the title company that the lien was placed on the wrong property and you shouldn't have a problem. It also shouldn't be a problem with your credit because you're not the debtor. If it is a mechanics lien then you probably need to defend it to show that you're not the person who contracted for the services. Also, mechanics liens need to be filed and served first, then foreclosed. There are time limits on when the foreclosure can be started. Caveat: different rules for different states. I'm talking about New York. I'd follow up to the point of inquiring who the plaintiff or the plaintiff's attorney is and give them a call to tell them that they're barking up the wrong tree. Sounds like a small claims case, things are pretty loose at that level.
  11. Wrong Wilson. I think they're looking for this guy:
  12. This article tries to tie the two issues together: http://www.counterpunch.org/2016/05/06/australia-china-relations-and-the-politics-of-canberras-submarine-deal/
  13. Mines: http://www.ga.gov.au/scientific-topics/minerals/basics From 2009: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/28/business/worldbusiness/28mine.html?_r=0 From 2013: https://www.australianmining.com.au/news/chinese-company-launches-hostile-takeover-of-carabella/ I'm sure there's a lot more examples. I'm only on my first cup of coffee. When you're China and you've got however many billion people in your country and they need something to do and someplace to go, eventually things go bad for your country or you have to make things bad for your neighbors.
  14. Any news on this? The opening ceremonies are tomorrow. The only person I've heard that's down in Brazil with a nominal connection to the Bills is Jerry Sullivan. Maybe someone can make a last minute effort to get him on board?
  15. Should have taken some vintage 1979 planes out of mothballs and shipped them over instead.
  16. Yep. That's why I suggested building islands adjacent to the ones China is building. I also saw this article today. China's had its eyes on Australia for awhile for the natural resources. http://www.sbs.com.au/news/thefeed/article/2016/08/03/australia-ideal-target-strike-chinese-state-media-says
  17. Are you sure that's not a badger on her head?
  18. Agreed and it is scary. China re-drew the map and claims that the entire sea is their territorial water? Can't sail through there, can't fish there? Would it be too antagonistic if the U.S. got together a coalition of all the other objecting nations in the South China Sea and started constructing artificial reefs and islands adjacent to everything that China is building? Call it the "friendly neighbor program".
  19. Shouldn't the title be "bereft of life ex-badger"?
  20. Either way, they shouldn't have brought Kermit into it. It's frickkin Kermit, jeez. It already isn't easy being green and now he's got a generation of people thinking he's a self-important a-hole Frenchman.
  21. Or: because sometimes you have to pray that checks and balances will win the day. Because it won't with the alternative.
  22. I'm having a hard time figuring out what Kermit the Frog has to do with anything. The text, I get.
  23. Her expression makes her look like she gets the irony.
  24. No worries...they got the rookie first round pick to take his spot. Oh, wait.
