  1. Hackett and Bortles finally showed up. Now Jax put their D in a giant hole.
  2. Geez Doug. Look at the person who's interviewing you. Basic politeness.
  3. If he's really hurt, I bet Belichick is even more pissed that Brady made him trade Garoppolo away.
  4. ^^^^^ Crappy and Crooked. Sounds like a rom-com movie title if ever I heard one.
  5. That reminds me of something. I'm going over to the Pet Peeves Thread.
  6. Not just swept under the rug but made part of normal election tactics on our way to Banana Republic status.
  7. So Simpson appeared voluntarily to testify, and then showed up and lied? And he had lawyers there with him? That's high level stupidity.
  8. There (so far) is only proof of what I said. When there is proof of Trump/Russian collusion, then you still can't whine about it without being a hypocrite, fool.
  9. Yes, it is better to use domestic money and sitting administration employees and the judicial system and the media and political machines and DNC lawyers and ex-British intelligence to influence an election. Much better. Right?
  10. TIDE pod?!?! I ate my I pod. I need to get my hearing checked.
  11. I think Henryk played it like Miller used to play. Get in the right position and trust that the puck will find you. The fact that he closed his glove to prevent a rebound was miraculous. I think Sam played pretty well last night. He doesn't mind being in the corners and he doesn't mind standing in front and taking his lumps. I don't think he's good at producing with his back to the net. I also don't think this staff can find a productive place for him on this roster. I'm hopeful that something changes with him on this team because I think he's more useful than not. Another note (I admittedly haven't watched more than half of their games this season): it seems as though Jack should just shoot the puck much more than he does. He keeps deferring to someone else with a cute pass. More often than not, his teammate isn't expecting it and the chance gets wasted. And if they can get him someone like Sam who CAN finish up rebounds, then they've got something. ...and while I like Risto a lot, I think he's terrible at clearing the puck out of his own zone. He can't make a pass out which creates a chance up ice.
  12. Why was Scandela standing by the post on the Rangers' winner? Talk about a useless place to be. I have to say that Nash played a good game. I think he's so underrated.
  13. My mom lives near the Getzville J&M and I bring her a sub every now and again when I'm in town visiting. I went about 15 years between trips until a couple years ago. My favorite when I was young was the A-bomb. I still order that one, but also the steak. The bread is still great. I've been making my own version of an A-bomb since I moved away. I tried to get my local pizza guy to start making it for me, but he was pretty rigid in his menu. All in all, J&M is still a solid choice. I wouldn't call it the best but you won't go wrong. My my dad loved the Santora's steak and dandelion. Loved it.
  14. The Pats will cover. Brady will find a mismatch and go no huddle because it slows down the pass rush. The only thing that might keep it close is if the Jags can run the ball and eat the clock. Bortles will play really poorly. i think Foles is good enough to keep the Eagles close and I think their defense is better than the Vikings' D. I think this one will be within the spread, so no cover by Philly.
  15. I think they'd have a better chance if they call themselves West Nevada.
  16. I always thought that the walk off should equal the distance past the line where the offensive pass interference occurred. So if the interference occurred 12 yards downfield, then the offense should be marched back 12 yards. The offense would not lose a down unless the interference was less than 10 yards downfield.
