  1. Yes, and he's gone. He could be out of your life, if you let him. But you won't let him out of your life. That's a you problem.
  2. I think you’re downplaying the WEF by quite a bit. Based on your description, why have this forum? What’s its purpose? The way I see it, there’s a bunch of super rich people lobbying world leaders to go back to their home countries to push for (or continue) policies that align with what the super rich people want. Whether that’s “sinister” or not isn’t the issue. Leaders of countries can control agendas and issue regulations — or executive orders. By influencing world leaders, the WEF absolutely has potential power over people in many countries across the globe. If your idea of top-down, non-democratic decision making is okay, then the WEF is for you, I guess.
  3. Those poor kids have to listen to him now.
  4. Public school teachers rarely strike because it is illegal and they face stiff and harsh penalties for doing so.
  5. You’re right, they are different. Edmunds looks like he gives a crap and puts forth effort. Can’t say that about Dahlin. He’s not a bust, but he’s not a generational difference maker by any stretch. And he won’t be until he ups his effort.
  6. "Biden" and "Energy President" don't seem to go together.
  7. Are you sure this isn't the State looking for $$ to help close the budget gap ?
  8. Seems to me that there’s no line anymore between “don’t care for Biden’s policies” and “Trumpanzee”. In actuality there’s a big divide between policy views and opinions about the person. There’s a lot of people here who don’t get that.
  9. 11 days later you reply. So I'm not an idiot. Thanks for the reinforcement. By the way, Trump lost and he left the White House, so maybe it is time for you to go lock your fantasy fiction thread.
  10. It was the first game back with no preseason for both teams. I watched. Washington was better.
  11. I’ll enjoy the game but I’m hating the rest of it. Go Bills!
  12. I don’t recall telling you when I thought polarization in our politics became a problem, so eff off with that, fool. Funny, I said twice that I don’t use twitter. It is morons like you who hung on trump’s words for 4 years. You couldn’t get enough of his daily stupidity so you could justify your hatred. All the while you missed the 4 year buildup of backlash against not just Trump, but all Republicans just for being in the “wrong” party. And January 6 was your grand finale Trump final outrage. What will you do with yourself now? Who to hate? Who’s left, the “stupid” and “evil” party you don’t support? If you think what’s going on is a good thing then you’ve been just as manipulated as those idiots who entered the Capitol.
  13. I don’t use Twitter but I’m not stupid enough not to see the reach of it. It is an ubiquitous means of communication. Don’t downplay its affect on our current culture. And the Twitter ban of Trump wasn’t the end of it. Apple and Google de-listed competing platforms and Twitter kicked off innumerable other accounts. That’s a one-sided purge. This country is polarized enough and Twitter just made it more so. You’ve got no problem with that? Differing opinions don’t deserve an audience? What’s good about that? What’d democratic about that? There are legitimate bipartisan debates about the reach of Twitter and Facebook and whether they should be regulated or not based upon their editorial practices. I dont know if any Democrat politicians have come out with a statement about how completely uncomfortable this is, but any with balls should do so. This is the most bipartisan issue I can think of.
  14. I don’t agree with what Trump said or did the other day and at the same time, and I don’t really care that he’s been kicked off Twitter. I’m not on Twitter and I don’t follow his every utterance. It keeps my life more pleasant. But make no mistake that there’s a clear, glaring, gross double standard here. I guess if he just limited himself to #resist and #notmypresident he’d be all good. I guess if he just kept it to harming police and taking over federal courthouses he’d be all good. I guess if he just limited himself to supporting the burning and looting of businesses in NYC he’d be all good. There’s a line between exercising your rights and abusing the exercise of your rights. Twitter seems to believe that they are capable judges of that line.
  15. ^^^ that pattern on the right never really took off.
  16. Oh my God. Why were they EVER in school in the first place?
  17. I think the anticipated response you'll get is "shut up, cultist!" Or you'll get a meme of someone with a tinfoil hat. Or Trump mocking someone.
  18. Explain how that works. You're conversing with a complete moron who can't formulate a post without referencing "Trump" and "cult". His lens is permanently fogged.
  19. WHY am I talking to Stidham's HELMET !?!?
  20. Seems like a a BS article just to throw Rothlisberger to the bottom of the heap because he’s been playing poorly and he got prickly about it in an interview.
  21. I didn't know pagans hold grudges like that.
