    I say that it's a longshot that he comes to Buffalo, but this could be a big clue for the direction they're heading on D next season. So, would this make taking DE Jabaal Sheard a lock in the second rd? http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1243192

    This actually makes a good amount of sense. There are a lot more 4-3 D-linemen near the top of the draft...lot of them would need converting to 3-4 which would be risky. Plus it's not like we've completely re-tooled the LBs for 3-4 at this point and we know most of our current D-linemen are better suited for a four man front. Switching back should be relatively painless.

    Hah! Kolb wasn't even first round talent when he was drafted...not sure why Philly thinks he's done anything to warrant an upgrade in status.

    Agreed. It's a pretty small chain of command relative to most businesses so I'm not surprised by this at all. And it sure beats Jerry Jones who reportedly sits in on the weekly post-mortem film breakdown with the coaching staff.

    Supposedly the Fins owner contacted Mangini too but claims that it was just to pick his brain about the AFC East. Possible I suppose, but more doubts cast on Sparano.

    Kinda reminds me of about this time last year when Kiper had Clausen at #9 (taken #48) over Tebow (taken #25). These draft gurus don't know squat.

    Thanks for the info...looks like San Fran traded not only their 2nd but also their 4th to get Carolina's 2010 1st which makes more sense.

    Someone's going to trade us their first round pick in the next draft for our second round pick this year? Has anybody been so desperate to do that before?

    If we're just going to trade for a big mobile QB with baggage then we might as well draft Newton.
