I think it makes sense for the Bills to be dangling the possibility of Spiller at 9 but I'll be surprised if they take him. The draft is pretty thin at HB. Assuming he's still on the board at 9 then the Bills want their phone to start ringing. There will be other teams interested in the top back in the draft (Seattle, NYG, San Diego, maybe Cincy). It's nice to have trade options even if they don't choose to pursue them. I also wouldn't be surprised if someone from the Buffalo front office leaked the rumor about Lynch to add some chum to the water. Especially since the person who reported it seems to be very confident in his source.

I can agree on that. Just not sure those guys are qualified to say whether he has what it takes to play LT or not.

Took typing in HS and it's probably the most truly useful thing that I ever took away from there.

I agree that the scores don't have to be high, but an exceptionally low score can be indicative of other problems that could translate to issues on the field. Things like general awareness, ability to assess game situations (do I run this kick back or fair catch it?), judgment off the field and quality of the company you may keep. It's not everything, but a team investing in a player with a red flag like this should take some extra steps to reduce their risk.

Especially the attachments on your SENT mail. Since you attached it you most likely have a copy on your hard drive.

A lot of teams make upgrades during the offseason that look great on paper but don't amount to jack. That said, Buffalo is still a long way off.

If I had a nickel for every time I read that about Lynch leading up to the draft where we took him...although I believe it to be more true about Spiller based on the little I've seen.

Who says he is a long-term RT? Is this a case of "short arm syndrome" again? He may start at RT, but I bet he makes the transition to LT in a year unless he gets drafted by a team that already has a stud LT ...and that won't happen.

While it's obviously not clear, I doubt Lapidus is only around for his sharp wit and classic facial expressions. He's going to fly something eventually.
