  1. I too am "invested in the Apple platform" but I have an Android phone and it all works together very nicely. Better than I expected. I guess my point is that owning other Apple stuff shouldn't dissuade you from investigating other options.
  2. Goose Island IPAs tonight
  3. I think Warsteiner is a great beer for hot weather.
  4. Heard Fat Tire is really good but I can't find it in WNY.
  5. Did you watch the practice at all or focus mostly on cotton candy and kettle corn?
  6. Went with a bottle of Unibroue Don De Dieu tonight. It's a beer I've been meaning to try for a long time. Judging by the taste it won't be nearly as long before I have a second bottle.

  9. I'm not saying he's completely off with his estimation, but Kirwan suffers from groupthink a bit more than I care for. I don't put a ton of weight on most of his stuff.
  10. Do you suggest sending by telegram?
  11. I often draw a blank on which side of the plate the fork goes on, so I imagine myself (a right-hander) cutting a piece of steak. Fork in my left hand pinning down the steak and knife in my right hand sawing away.
  12. Shrimp boils or one-pot clambakes are good for big groups and have a little bit of everything in there.
  13. Don't know if they stack up to those sweet Pierce-Arrows, but Rochester also has some automobile history.... Cunningham Coaches, Cabriolets & Phaetons
  14. FWIW, I agree with you.
  15. ^ | | Not familiar with the old SNL skit I guess.
  16. Rescue Me and It's Always Sunny in Philly are two must-watch shows for me.
  17. stigmata
  18. In a follow up interview, Dockett was quoted saying "I wouldn't say that it's a small washcloth."
  19. I hear Lost is good.
  20. Might it BE bird poop? I had a similar situation where I went a way for a long weekend and came home to streaks on several of our walls and splats over our dining room table. But where was the bird? Turns out that birds crawl under things to go to die. Once I learned that I checked around the house and found it under the fridge. My best guess is that the bird had flown down through the chimney.
  21. Seems like Clayton is making his own news here. Wouldn't take this too seriously.
  22. Seneca has some great wineries. Plus they have the region's only distillery (that I know of). http://www.fingerlakesdistilling.com/ Locally made whiskey, gin, vodka, grappa and liqueurs.
