  1. I agree. Interesting in general, but not the best question in a debate forum.
  2. You oversimplified it. I'm not talking about flash cards and the everyday voter on the street being able to identify a candidate from a bag of a$$holes. I'm talking about isolating the two VP candidates from their running mates and then attempting to do a comparitive analysis between Cheney and Edwards.
  3. My fiancee thought that it was a stupid question also. I kind of liked the question from a general interest standpoint. The intent was to separate the candidates from their running mates and compare/contrast the VP candidates as individuals. Unfortunately, there were two flaws 1) Edwards didn't properly answer the question (with or without using Kerry's name) and 2) we aren't voting for VPs, we are voting for a President.
  4. Eh? I don't get your point.
  5. This is straight from your team at Fox. Get a new Tivo I feel bad for you. Not only does your administration lie to you, but your Tivo does as well.
  6. Cheney really took the gloves off with that ad hominem attack on Edwards. You could tell that the comments about Halliburton really stung him and probably ring true. I actually gained a lot of respect for Cheney from this debate. I was one that went on record on this board to say that the fancy trial lawyer Edwards would stylistically wipe the floor with Cheney, but Cheney definitely won on style points. Of course he lied (or exaggerated) about several important issues (as did Edwards) but he's a politician...its what they do. I kept wondering why this guy isn't our president instead of Bush.
  7. The best sound bite was Ray Lewis telling Jamal Lewis to forget about his upcoming court trial and (to paraphrase) "Put it on your shoulder. Just like I did with my trial." You can't make stuff like that up.
  8. Sorry guys but that's what happens when your sport becomes mainstream and popular with corporations. They must be getting advice from Paul Tagliabue and the No Fun League. Pretty soon the drivers won't be allowed to take off their helmets until they are off of the track and doing a celebration burnout will be a penalty for "taunting."
  9. I'll throw out a number....280 yds. And, I DO have Pennington on my fantasy team.
  10. Yeah...what about Kerry cheating during the debate again? Right...that's what I thought. "Whining, complaining, and bitching"...signifying nothing.
  11. Ugh. Why did I temporarily un-ignore you? I must be looking for a fight today.
  12. Yeah, and you're the acme of specificity.
  13. Don't see how. The jackhammering noise probably wasn't much different than the child's conception.
  14. Not according to Belichick... I'm not ready to hand over the keys to the permanent starting CB yet, but the next few weeks may be a pleasant surprise.
  15. What's the difference? If they make a decision that the US doesn't like then we tell 'em to blow it out their a$$ and go in their full force with all of our military might. That's what we do with the UN right? Makes no difference to us. We're special. We're America...the exception to ALL the rules.
  16. Let's pull a major coup and pull in Shanahan to coach and GM.
  17. I think that McGahee needs to be given a chance to prove himself before we talk about trading Henry. I'm wondering what the coaching staff is waiting for. We're pretty sure that both backs won't be here next year, but how does anybody know what they are getting in McGahee if he rides the pine the entire season?
  18. So, if McGee comes out and plays better than solid corner over the next few weeks, do the Bills move Vincent to Free Safety when he comes back from injury? This was a move that was discussed heavily during the offseason. I think that Kevin Thomas could handle the nickel position sufficiently. At this point in the season I'm not sure that Vincent could be more affective at a new position than the current safeties, but I'm just thinking about getting the best players on the field at the same time.
  19. I couldn't help but think of the (very lame IMO) opening SNL skit this past Saturday where Bush just kept saying "We work hard!" over and over again. It's almost like Donahoe is trying to convince himself.
  20. Good post...well said. I'm still waiting for a lame excuse from One Bills Drive.
  21. McGee! (until next week when he gets lit up by the Jets and then we can put up the next Bills Favorite Son of the Week)
